Summary: THIS IS A GOOD PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER
Review: A GUY FINDS A WALLET THAT HAPPENS TO HAVE A WINNING LOTTERY TICKET IN IT THAT'S WORTH $6 MILLION. WHEN IT COMES TIME TO GIVE THE WALLET BACK TO ITS RIGHTFUL OWNER [JAMES EARL JONES], HE BEGINS TO HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT RETURNING THE TICKET. THIS PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER IS VERY ENTERTAINING. THE ACTING IS GOOD AND THE ENDING IS VERY VERY SHOCKING. A GOOD MOVIE TO WATCH IF YOU WANNA SEE A MOVIE THAT'LL MAKE YOU THINK.

Review: Every movie has it's flaws, and this one certainly falls short of perfect. But what it lacks in plot, it certainly makes up with fine acting. From the very beginning you feel the tension and know it is going to explode sooner or later, you just don't know when. So you keep watching, trying to decide who you are going to cheer for. Even when the story gets confusing, you feel like you are right there in the room with these five disfunctional characters getting ready to throw a punch of your own, or dodge one from someone else. Women may not understand this kind of interaction between "friends," but these misfits are bonded by some need for each other and they know how to make each other react. I will watch again to enjoy the acting and subtilities.

Review: I don't know why some reviewers would give this movie a poor rating. The only thing I can figure is that they did not understand the movie, or didn't pay attention.
I really enjoyed this movie and I'm recommending it to everyone I know. The ending will really surprise you. It is a "must-see" movie.

Summary: Loved this FILM
Review: I just love it when I go to the video store and rent something I never heard of before and when I get home I am just so pleased and give myself a slap on the back for renting this fine gem.This movie written and director of SURVIVOR no less was a great and intesne film. This is a very challenging story to write as it all takes place in an apartment with five guys playing poker.
Now to keep me entertained for 99 minutes with just one setting is a pretty damn hard to do, but it worked. Summary is Tep (Eric Palladino-U-571) invites his three buddies, Mathew Lillard (Scream), Dash Mihok (White Boys), and Ryan Reynolds (Van-Wilder/Buying The Cow) over the for there usual night of poker. Earlier the night Tep finds a wallett out on the street. He picks it up and calls the owner. Tep is also into winning the lottery, and during their poker game all the buddies put up their Lotto tickets in a game of "Last Man Standing." Rules are you are not look at the numbers before the game. Tep does and finds out his ticket is not a winner. Tep calls a number in the wallet, leaving a message to tell the owner of the wallet "Avery Phillips" (James Earl Jones), that he has his ticket and Tep gives his address to come over and pick up the wallet. In Avery Phillips wallet is a lotto ticket with you guessed the WINNING NUMBERS. I will not tell you anymore cause I want you to feel the intensity of the entire movie that never lets up once Mr. Phillips enters the room to pick up his wallet. Some great twits and turns that you will not see coming. Jeff Probst might be a dork of host on Survivor, but the guy is a stud when writting and directing. Here's to you Probst. Oh yeah, Reality TV sucks!

Review: I was going to give this movie 2 stars because I am sure that there must be worst movies out there. Having just watched it, however, it is difficult to remember any. I agree with the reviewers below who say that this movie falls apart at the end. The first 80 minutes of the movie are often slow and boring, but the acting is good and you keep hoping the plot will fully develop. You do feel the tension the makers of this movie intended. And the cast is top-notch. But all of the good acting in the world cannot save a story that is so fundamentally flawed. In the end, nothing makes sense. You are left wondering how things could possibly turn out the way they do. A thinking person will be left with no conclusion but that the story is full of gaping holes. This story could only make sense as a bad Twilight Zone episode. At least then you could think some supernatural phenomenon is responsible for the plot device that cannot be rationally explained. But there is nothing in the movie to indicate that it is supposed to be anything supernatural occurring. So the viewer is just left feeling cheated.

Review: I'm afraid that the reviewers who didn't like this movie understood it all too well. At times it promises real drama and tension, but never delivers. There are too many character twists with no basis. And the ending really does make the viewer feel cheated. This is a really poor attempt at making a movie.
