Review: I strongly recommend both the 1999 (Guatamala and Kosovo) and the 2000 (Tibet and Cambodia) Pavarotti and Friends DVD versions b/c the quality of sound and picture are so much better than earlier year production of Pavarotti and Friends. Spike Lee definitely elevated the quality of these 2 DVDs to a higher level than previosly released Pavarotti and Friends. Besides helping for a good cause, you will discover INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS (From 1999 DVD: Lionel Richey, Mariah Carey, B.B. King, Ricky Martin, Joe Crocker, Boyzone, Zucchero, etc. --- From 2000 DVD: BIAGIO ANTONACCI, Eurythmics, Tracy Chapman, AQUA, Enrique Iglesias, George Michael, Savage Garden, Skunk Anansie, Caetano Veloso, Monice Naranjo, etc.) If you like the 1999 DVD, you must get the 2000 version also. Listent to BIAGIO ANTONACCI . . . with a loved one. YEAH! Definitely listen to these DVDs with the ones you LOVE b/c the music video will warm your hearts. My dream now is to attend one of these converts LIVE in Modena with my most romantic partner. So my next goal is to search for tickets to the next Pavarotti and Friends in Italy.
