Review: Two hours of great music by great voices. Not a sour note to be heard. Antonio can sing just fine, thank you very much. Especially loved the selections from Jesus Christ Superstar.

Summary: Incredible!
Review: You will never need another Andrew Lloyd Webber video or CD after buying this. Every famous performer from his musicals appears here, but the highlight had to be Elaine Paige singing "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." Antonio Banderas was, despite popular opinion, very good as the Phantom.

Bonnie Tyler's song "Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts" is unbelievably wonderful and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's "The Heart is Slow to Learn" is heartbreaking!

BUY THIS VIDEO!

Summary: Amazing Cast, Amazing Music, Breathtaking Performances
Review: I saw the advertisements for this video off of the Cats home video. The next day I went and bought it. I love Elaine Page and Michael Ball. They have truely talented voices. Tina Arena gives a wonderful performance as well. I thought that Bonnie Tyler was an odd add in, her talent wasn't quite up to par with some of the rest. Antonio Banderas does wonderfully in Evita but shouldn't touch Phantom, he does very well but I still think of the phantom as Michael Crawford. But otherwise Antonio is wonderful in the show as well. I watch this video all the time, I just wish that they would have done a little more on Cats. I recommend this video on surround sound turned up really loud, and get comfy, it will blow your socks off!!!!! Hearing these performers live is the neatest thing you will ever hear, and I haven't heard anything like it in the USA. Go Buy it now before you forget.

Review: Wonderful evening of entertainment. All stars in great voice. How wonderful in this day and age just to sit and be entertained, with no deep messages and,no smut. Production of such a vast amount of differing numbers in such confined space and time truly magnificent. Worth every cent and a few dollars more!! Bert H.

Summary: Simply fabulous!
Review:
Wow! I absolutely loved this video!

I absolutely loved Sarah Brightman in Requiem! Although her voice is WAAAAAAAAY too mature for the POTO theme song, but I love how she does the opera at the end of the song..She could still hit the high E, which proves that she is the ULTIMATE CHRISTINE! She hits that note with ease...I really like Tina Arena at the beginning too, and loved All I Ask of You... To my dismay, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again was TAKEN OUT! I love how Sarah does this.. I know everyone says this, but, I'll say it anyway : I wish MC was there! He would've done great!

I loved Elaine Paige's MEMORY, and wished they would have had little kittens running around for the Jellicle Ball.. But, I definetly give everyone a high 5!

Summary: Superbly Delicious Andrew Lloyd Webber at His VERY Best
Review: Andrew Lloyd Webber was treated to a 50th birthday special of his own work. This is by far the best video I've seen of his work, and a cast that will knock your socks off. Michael Ball's "Gethsemene" from JCSS will bring tears to your eyes. Donny Osmond is awesome. Elaine Paige is magical. Tina Arena's version of "Whistle Down the Wind" brought chills. Glenn Close's performance is beyond any film I've seen her in. You'll want to watch this over and over again.

Summary: Outstanding Night of Musical Theatre!
Review: This video is simply superb! It is difficult to single out one performance because each performer performed brilliantly to honor the great Andrew Lloyd Webber. But I must single out Glenn Close....I cannot remember a more beautiful performance by anyone! And yes I even enjoyed Antonio Banderas. Please don't try and compare Antonio with Michael Crawford. They are two totally different performers. If it is true that Antonio will be the new Phantom in the movie version we should try and accept Antonio for his own individual talent. I am sure that they would have preferred to have Michael Crawford perform the songs from Phantom of the Opera, but it is my understanding that he no longer wishes to be associated with ALW. I can hardly wait for the opening of Whistle Down the Wind!
