Summary: Bravo!
Review: Upon watching a glimpse of this Celebration on PBS, I fell in love. I have always been an ALW fan, but this video is put together so well. Michael Ball steals the show along with one of my favorites, Glenn Close.

This video is a MUST buy for anyone who enjoys musical theater.

Summary: A must have for ALW lovers!
Review: First of all, this is NOT the exact same thing you saw on PBS. It's better. There are more songs (such as another version of Whistle Down The Wind, Close Every Door, and Sarah Brightman singing Music of the Night, as well as other songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, and one from Starlight Express, just to name a few) If you love what you saw on PBS and want to see the twenty+ minutes you missed, you should buy this video. It is worth it. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I have.

Summary: A MUST OWN!
Review: This video inspires our family to tears frequently. There are spiritual messages in nearly every song. A great way to prepare your soul for the cold, dark days of the Y2K Depression, soon to befall us all. Listen to the words of God through "Just One Look" Enjoy!

Summary: CHEERS FOR CELEBRATION
Review: I have watched this "Celebration" video at least a dozen times and enjoy it more with each viewing. Performances by Donny Osmond (JOSEPH)Antonio Banderas (Evita/Phantom), Elaine Page (Evita/Cats),were marvelous, HOWEVER, Glenn Close (Sunset Blvd)stole the show. See it!

Summary: A fitting tribute to the work of ALW and his artists.
Review: From the very opening of Tina Arena's atmospheric rendition of whistle down the wind to the Jellicle ball, you will be taken away on a journey of some of the best Music ever. Donny Osmond surely makes a fitting Joseph and Elaine Paige is incomparable as Evita. Her vocal and expressive talents outweigh those of Madonna by tons. An exceptional performance by JLW in Variations and Marti Webb (or maybe Sarah Brightman) singing some Tell me on a Sunday songs would have been nice here. Marcus Lovett sang an excellent Jesus Christ Superstar and one of te best parts of the evening was when Sarah Brightman turned round after Dennis O neill and gave a fantastic rendition of the Pie Jesu. Michael Ball again succeeds in capturing the audience, but the most Dramatic part of the show was when the Phantom Overture started and Sarah's incomparable performance of the Phantom of the opera. Her ability to reach that impossibly high top E is astounding, proving that she is still the ultimate Christine even though she's nearing 40! It was nice to see Sarah sing these songs, especially as they were written for her (the Music of the Night was a love piece Andrew wrote for her to sing!) Welsh bird Bonnie Tyler is worth raving about as is Glenn Close. No-one captures the mood of memory like Elaine Paige can. Kiri te Kanawa's average vocal skills were put to the test in ALW's new piece. Although a good performance, her wining ang shrivelling was sometimes evident.

The music will last forever.
