I have been trying to find the book but the library has me listed as # 16 on the list and that has been since the movie came out. I finelly found that the inter-net can find it for me I Hope it works. If anyone has a chance to read this book you will not be disapointed.

Review: I was impressed with the storytelling. After seeing the Temps in concert recently and watching the movie, I wanted to go right out and buy the movie for my home video collection. I would like to know the origin of other great soul acts from the Motown era. Thanks, Otis Williams, for your preseverance and determination to keep the name "The Temptations" as a group and not as one individual and the "Temptations".

Review: The movie was on the best movies that I have seen on tv or at the movies. The Motown story all around is an excellent movie. The music, dancing, and oh so sexy Leon is a must see. After I saw the movie, I went to my parents archives and now I listen to the music all time . It really sounds better when you know the story behind the music. I know the movie is Emmy bound.

Review: The television movie was excellent, probably would have done very well on the big screen. The singing was right on target and you got the feeling that you were looking at the real Temptations! The video will sell very well! For those few people who did not see it on television and for those who did, seeing it all at once on tape will leave you dancing in you seat!

Review: I WAS NEVER A TEMPTATIONS FAN UNTIL I SAW THIS MOVIE. I HAVE SHARED IT WITH EVERYONE I KNOW AND THEY HAVE LOVED IT AS WELL. MY MOTHER HAS GONE CRAZY OVER IT AND IS PURCHASING ANYTHING WITH "THE TEMPTATIONS" NAME. THIS SHOW SHOULD HAVE WON THE AWARD IT WAS UP FOR. THE ACTING WAS WONDERFUL. YOU COULD NOT TELL THE ACTORS WERE NOT SINGING THOSE SONGS. THE CASTING DIRECTOR DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I LOVED THIS SHOW AND EVERYONE SHOULD SEE IT!!

Review: I ABSOLUTELY POSITELY LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!! I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME FAN OF THIS GROUP SINCE I WAS A KID, BACK IN THE 70'S. AFTER I SAW THE FIVE HEARTBEATS, I KNEW I WAS GOING TO ENJOY THE NBC SPECIAL, WHICH I RECORED. WHAT A GREAT MOVIE. THE TEMPTATIONS CAME TO NAPLES, FL OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, AND WHAT A CLASSY AFFAIR IT WAS. THE INVITATIONS HAD A STRICT DRESS CODE GIVING DETAILS OF WHAT TO WEAR. IT IS AMAZING THAT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THE GROUP HAS MAINTAINED SUCH CLASS AND GRACE. THE NEW GROUPS SHOULD TAKE SOME POINTERS FROM THEM, MAYBE THEY WILL LAST LONGER, IN OUR EVER CHANGING MUSIC INDUSTRY.

Review: I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A TEMPTATIONS BIO-MOVIE EVER SINCE THE FIVE HEARTBEATS. LEON PLAYED DAVID RUFFIN TO THE EXTREME. THESE FIVE GUYS HAD THE TEMPTATIONS DANCE MOVES LIKE THEY'VE BEEN DOING THEM FOR YEARS. I WISH THE MOVIE WOULD'VE EXPLORED MORE OF THE LIVES OF DAVID RUFFIN, EDDIE KENDRICKS AND MELVIN FRANKLIN. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 4 STARS. I HOPE SUZANNE DEPASSE MAKES PART 2 AS SHE HINTED TO ON NBC.COM. IF YOU HAVE A VIDEO LIBRARY AND YOU LOVE OLD SOUL MUSIC AS I DO, MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE THIS VIDEO.
