Summary: The Last Great Musical
Review: "Grease"is the word, and the last great musical made. This movie is so much fun,I'm still not bored. Its like being a teenager again. I got to play Kenickie in our local theater group, and sang the best song from the play,"Grease Lightnin." In the movie Travolta sings this number.I love John's voice, and can't understand why he hasen't recorded more? Olivia is fantastic. Its ashame she never made a better,or equal film, but at least she has this performance to her credit.Susan Dey was the first choice for Sandy, but turned it down.I'm glad she did,Susan can only move her mouth to someone else's singing. If you ever seen VH1's,reunion of the Grease cast, its great.Everyone had a fantastic time making the movie.Stockard Channing said her hickeys were for real.Everyone was doing it to someone.

Summary: A special movie
Review: "Grease" is one of those rare, special movies that you can watch over & over & over again, and still love it.

Olivia Newton-John is great as the sweet, innocent Sandy, while John Travolta is perfect as cool-guy Danny.

The whole movie is witty, funny, and there is music to suit all themes during the movie. Sure, the movie is over 20 years old, but it is also a timeless classic, and there is not one person I know that does not like this movie. Who could hate such a wonderful movie anyway?

Summary: TRASH
Review: Newton-john lost her lawsuit (as usual) to try to get more money from this stupid movie. I guess the courts don't think she's so great. And well... this movie is what the title says it is- total trash. The Grease reunion was a bunch of old worn out people trying to act young again- it was really pathetic. I hope kids these days have something more to aspire to than the idiots in this film.

Summary: Grease is Still the Word!
Review: "Grease" is a great film! The music in it is really good and the characters are really funny! It's the kind of film to watch over and over again. I've seen it so many times that I've lost count! John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and all the cast are brilliant!

Summary: You've gotta see this one.
Review: I don't know that I can put into words just how much I adore this film. I've seen it more than any other, I've got soundtrack on vinyl, tape, and cd. The music, the story, the cast, it all just came together for this movie, which recently celebrated a 20th anniversary. John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing and the rest of the cast have the moves, and the voices to keep this movie in high gear all the way through. One of, if not the last great musical ever made. You have to see it to truly appreciate it.

Summary: Its HOT!
Review: This is my favorite movie an always will be! The first time I saw it I kept watching it over and over again. I ended up knowing all the words to the songs and everything. John Travolta looks so HOT. I could never watch another movie again as long as I could watch this one! its the best ever made!

Summary: Grease is the word.
Review: I wanted to see Grease because I was in love with Olivia Newton-John. I watched it at a friend's house and loved it all the way through. Great music and great scenes all the way through. Who could forget the race at Thunder Road and the dance off? Of course, the really big scene that stands out in my mind is when Olivia walks up in the skin tight black jeans. What a knockout. The first type of video player I ever owned was the old SelectaVision videodisks that were popular in the early eighties and Grease was one of the first movies I ever owned. I've probably never watched-with the exception of Star Wars-a movie as many times as I've watched Grease. I'm guessing that I've probably watched it about 50 to 60 times all the way through. I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

Summary: A True Classic
Review: This is a brilliant video production of the stage show Grease. I haev watched this many times and it always has the same kind of magic and energy to it. If you haven't seen it, then why not?

Summary: Love and pain in a drive-in movie
Review: This was one of those 5 or 6 movies that my little daughter made me watch with her over and over every day after work for months. I really didn't mind. The only part I found painful was when Danny Zuko blew off his pretty Australian girlfriend in front of his friends. Her name was Sandy, right? But wasn't that the name of the dog in Annie, another of my daughter's favorites? I'm getting confused. After 8 million viewings of Annie followed by another 8 million of Grease I think it's all starting to blend together. And every damn time, Danny Zuko would cave in to male peer pressure and act like a phony to Olivia Newton-John. One of the high points of this movie was in the drive-in theatre when Danny elbowed Olivia in the arm. I forget how Miss Hannigan and her brother Rooster fit into all this.

Summary: Give credit where its due
Review: Did you know the first choice for Sandy was that chick from The Partridge Family? She declined, saying she was looking for more mature roles, what an idiot! Allen Carr (producer) met Olivia at a dinner party and decided she WAS Sandy, Grease was already in production, so they changed the role of Sandy to fit Livvy's aussie accent. Can you also imagine this film without the songs, "Hopelessly Devoted" and "Your The One That I Want"? These songs came about when Olivia was hired and her songwriter, John Farrar, wrote those 2 songs for the movie. Originally, these songs would not have been in this movie if not for Olivia. Can you imagine how boring this movie would be without those 2 songs? The original broadway play does not include these songs, and well, YAWN is the best description I can think of. Travolta cried that Olivia has these 2 great songs and he didn't have a solo to sing, afraid he would be upstaged by Olivia. So, the producers wrote "Sandy" just for him. That song originally was not to be in the film either had John not had a temper tantrum. I can't imagine GREASE without these songs or Olivia. So why does everyone give John top billing in the credits when Olivia is the charm behind Grease? Olivia recently filed a lawsuit because she isn't getting her share of Grease millions. Good Luck to you Livvy
