Summary: Bre's
Review: This movie is probably one of the most enduring movies of all time, and no surprise either. With sharp, witty dialogue, and fabulous songs that you will continue to sing for weeks, it is a constant joy to watch over and over again. None of the characters are two-dimensional, not even the members of the supporting cast. Instead, each has his or her own individuality, and each clamours for attention from the audience. This movie is a lot of fun, but it isn't meant to be taken too seriously, as it doesn't possess much moral fibre. A great movie. If you haven't seen it, see it.

Summary: Cool goodies.
Review: I got this for my wife and she had two of her girlfriends over and they all sang along watching it. No big surprise there. The VHS comes with a dance re-mix CD with a picture of JT and ONJ on it and the script and lyrics in a booklet. They're pretty cool for goodies in a VHS. There is also something extra as part of the program but my wife fast-forwarded past it, so I don't know what it is. Maybe interviews, maybe "Making of", I dunno but it should be at the end of the program -- like on my collector's "Natural Born Killers". I guess they wanted it to be a "teaser" but it's more like a "spoiler". This tape isn't letterboxed, but that seems to be a plus for some people. Ok, I won't say anything, I know you think you're missing part of the show on the pan and scan... I won't say anything. This is a good gift to get someone who likes 'Grease' and anyone that likes it loves it, so you can't go wrong. My wife was singing the songs when she got the thing -- a week before she watched it.

Summary: Sweet memories
Review: I know this movie through my Sec 2 performance, cos we used "We go together" as our song for the dance. It's really a sweet memories to me.It's full meaning.I feel so touch after watching as it descibes how those charators faced the problems yet this doesn't discourage them inspite giving them the couragous. How I wish I can like them, having a happy ending.

Summary: Watch it again and again and again, etc.!
Review: Grease is one of the best musical movies ever made! I went to a dance and they played the remix that comes with the 20th anniversary edition, and every single girl there was singing along! The songs are great, the cast is great, everything is just "peachy keen"!

Summary: #1 Musical
Review: Grease has got to be the best musical that was ever made. Or maybe I think that because I haven't seen many musicals. Nah, it's the best. I would go on and say how I liked the characterization, acting, and all else, but all of that will fit into four words - It's Just the Best. Casting couldn't have been better, neither could have the cast did the parts better. Everything in this movie was perfect! And the performances of the songs were great! I'm in a production of Grease right now, as Kenickie, and I'm having a great time! Everything that revolves around this movie is just...the best!

Summary: Grease
Review: Grease is STILL the word! You just can't resist the lively dance numbers and great acting! Also it launched the careers of John Travolta, Olivia Newton John, and Stockard Channing. All the songs are usefull, and fit in great! Just try to resist Summer Nights or You're The One That I Want (My Favorite!). Tip: Also see Grease 2, and no, it's not a stinkbomb like some may think.

Summary: High School Was Never Like This!
Review: What a great movie. Ordinarily, I can't tolerate musicals. There's something about the way that people are just standing there talking and then all of a sudden break into song. It's laughable under most circumstances. Grease breaks that mold a little bit. All the musical numbers-and there are some great ones-never interfere with the flow of the movie and that's one of the reasons I like this movie so much. Of course, having Olivia Newton-John in tight black leather pants at the end doesn't hurt. This movie portrays high school life like we would all like it to be-a special time in our lives that's filled with lots of fun with our friends, nothing gets taken too seriously, and everything works out in the end. I'm reviewing the widescreen version because it, like so many other movies, is much more impressive in its original state. I know some people don't like the little black bands on the top and bottom of their T.V. screens, but look at it this way-you will be watching it in the way that the makers of the movie always intended it to be.

Summary: Grease IS The Word
Review: I am a 15/f. I have seen Grease a bunch of times. It never fails to make me laugh. The crazy songs, the charactors, it is all sooo great ! I would recommend this movie to people of all ages. By the way, in my opinion, the sequel is NOT as good as the original.

Summary: One of the Great Musical Classics
Review: I was just a teenager when I first saw this movie, I remember lining up for hours just to get a ticket. Now that I have a copy of my own, I get to re-live the energy that I felt all those years ago. This would have to be one of the great big screen musicals of all time. One of those movies that you can watch over and over and still love it as if you were seeing it for the first time. Life is not complete without a copy of this video, can't wait for the DVD version.

Summary: The Grand-Daddy of All Feel-Good 50s Films!
Review: This is one of the few examples of a film version rivaling the stage production! John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John are a perfect match as the greaser and the goodie-two-shoes. Add a sharp-tongued Stockard Channing as Rizzo and an all star cast rendering stellar comedy performances, and you have "Grease", the best Musical ever to portrait the magic of high school life in the late 50s. The "Summer Nights" scene is priceless! -- See this in the wide screen or DVD version. Both are far superior to the regular 'formated' video! Highly recommended!
