Summary: One Of The Greatest Movies Of All Time
Review: I've been watching this movie for that past 15 years, I cant get enough of it. Watching this movie really makes you wish there was a Wonkaland so you can go to and forget about all your worries. I highly recommend this movie to people of all ages. Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory get's Five Stars for its "Pure Imagination"!!!!!

Review: This is probrably the best childrens movie EVER made!!! I watched this movie continually as a child, we own the 25th anniversary version lol now there's a 30th anniversary version!!! Anyways I used to watched this in its original black and white and it was still just as good!! There's a lesson in here too. Being bad doesn't get you rewards!!! I'm 16yrs and I still love this film. The story of the young and poor Charlie is intrueging as he with no much money wishes to find a golden ticket in the Wonka chocalate bars!!! The factory has been shutdown for years so everyone is dying to get in!!! There is a Wonka mania with candy bars selling by the case!!! The other children that get into the factory are: Augustus a fat overeating brat, a bubblegum blowing brat,Veruca a snob who has to get everything she wants, and a TV obsessed brat. The whole movie is entertaining. Not just the beginning end or middle, but the WHOLE thing!!! I garuntee if you buy or rent this YOU will be fully satisfied!!! Esp. your young child, but even teens and adults can enjoy this!!! So go get it today!!!

Summary: A pure imagination, Fizzy, and Lifting experience
Review: Gene Wilder is one of my favorite comedians. It seems to take so little effort to make us all laugh at his antics. He plays an excellent Wonka that has a walking cain even more deadlier than the Riddler's. At my age (a near firm 19) I get eye brows when I say I, yes, *Love* Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I have worn out several copies, and borrowed and rented it endlessly....so yes...I have a problem. But here is where the good news comes in. DVD. It's here! Join the wanka-visioned, wanka-tania, choco-licious fantasy and get Wanka As soon as you can. And though this edition is not wide-screen, those of you who do not care should enjoy it. 5 star's for the movie, the rest I am waiting on!

Review: It amazes me that people think that this is a children's film. No child should be allowed to view this 'horror' film. I still have nightmares about the fat little boy getting sucked up the pipe in the chocolate river and Charlie and and his grandpa floating up to the rotating blades. What a horrible movie!

Review: I got a riddle for you ....... What's famous ?Best child movie ?and has a great cast ?Willy Wonka and The Choclate Factory of course .My Fave Chachter is Viloet she learned about gum chewing can be very dangerous . This movie is all about Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum )who is very poor and work's as a paper boy .Very soon his whole life would change just as Charlie was thinking his dream's wouldn't come true ,Five golden ticket's had been hided inside 5 Wonka bars luckily charlie was one of those five's .The other ticket finder's were Augusta ,Veruciana ,Viloet ,Mike Teevee ,and of course Charlie !On the day of the tour every kid dissapear's who could win the year supply of Chocolate ?Will it be ?Viloet,Mike,Vercoina,Mike ,or Charlie ?Watch the movie too find out . Another thing I like about this movie is the cast espically Gene Wilder (Wonka ).Of course the parent's are funny but espically Miss Teevee and Mr Salt .My fave part in the movie is when somebody turn's into a whatever (I don't wanna blow the storyline )But anyway this movie is all out awesome !!!!!

Review: Who wouldn't remember the thrill of seeing this movie for the first time. The wonder and excitmnet of iminaging yourself let loose in WONKA's play ground. This movie is a true classic like Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang. Every child should be so lucky to grow up with movies like these.

Summary: Maybe Shouldn't Have a "G" Rating
Review: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is that rare moralistic children's movie which appeals equally strong to adults. There is a darker edge to Willy Wonka than most for-children movies like to include. Willy Wonka is the story of several children who have found their golden tickets within their candy bars that give them permission to tour Wonka's candy factory. The tour is guided by Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder) himself. Wilder plays Wonka as a sometimes benign eccentric and at other times a menacing moralist intent on teaching his guests a lesson. One by one the children drop by the wayside as they engage in behavior that gets them removed from the tour. They aren't physically removed by Wonka but are instead physically unable to go on due to the repercussions of their actions. Willy Wonka is probably not best suited for very young audiences. While it does have a "G" rating, I'd be disinclined to let any child under the age of ten view the film due to its sometimes dark and forboding nature. Otherwise, Willy Wonka is a film that can be enjoyed by people of many ages.

Summary: It's about time this one got a special edition DVD
Review: Personally this is one of my favorite children's movies. Gene Wilder does a fantastic job as Willy Wonka. The story is great, the sets are fantastic, and the music is good too. A true classic. The extras to be featured on this DVD (new documentary, audio commentary, etc.) are a great improvement over the previous DVD release. I would highly recommend this DVD.

Review: One of my most favirite films of all time! I first watched the film as a 3rd grader in La Salle and eversince, loved it. The story of Willy Wonka and Charlie is absolutely wonderful. Gene Wilder is such a great entertainer. The film has a very good story accompanied with very fine song selections. Children will surely have fun watching this film and a lot of good moral lessons could be learned from it and surely will touch their lives after. It proves that with true faith, perserverance and dedication, one can achieve anything. A real timeless classic. A splendid film that the whole family will enjoy watching together. "Come with me, and we'll be, in a world of pure imagination......."
