Review: I have to admit I was never a big fan of Jennifer Lopez or her acting. But she blew me away in SELENA. Having never heard of the Tejano sensation before her tragic death, I was fully engrossed in the film from the opening scenes. The music, the story, the emotion, all reel you in. I immediately purchased the soundtrack and then the actual Selena CD's. Rent or Buy SELENA and enjoy. And I challenge you not to fall apart at the very end...you can't help but realize what a terrible loss her murder forced the music world and her loving family to endure.

Review: i watched this movie in spanish class, i had only seen bits and pieces before, but now i have seen it all and i love it sooooo soooo much. i am already Jennifer Lopez's #1 fan(no matter who says what) so that even made the movie better, and made me want to know more about selena!

Review: I recently saw "Selena", and think it is the best movie I've seen. I think somehow I could relate to Selena, with getting married with out permission, and doing her school work by mail. I wish I had known about her when she was alive! I will allways remember her in my heart, it is such a shame that she was murdered-what a terrible loss to the world and especially to her lovely family.

Review: I have been listening to Selena's music just recently, since I have been into Spanish language and just got back from Guadalajara. I watched the movie two days ago and enjoyed it. It is now one of favorite movies, and I plan to buy the video. There are few movies that I can watch more than once, (Ghost, Sister Act, Amadeus,etc.) and Selena certainly is now included in my Collection!

Review: I am NEVER one to cry at a movie the second time around because it just doesn't seem as sad anymore, but this movie broke all rules and brought tears to my eyes when I watched it again. Most of the actors really put themselves into the role making you feel like you're really watching the real people in action.

Review: SELENA is a True Story. Selena, is a beautifull rising Mexican-American music star who's life comes to a tragic end when she is killed trying to recover financial records from a so-called friend. Her talent and voice is a great reminder of how great of a woman she really was. Jennifer Lopez, Edward James Olmos, Jon Seda, Rebecca Lee Meza (Young Selena) and the entire cast perform astonishingly magnificent. The movie describes with high definition the strong love between Selena Quintanilla Perez, Her husband Chris Perez, Her Father Abraham Quintanilla and the rest of the Quintanilla familly (Her Brother Abie, Sister Suzette, Mother Marcella, Delores and Eddie). This movie is a masterpiece describing the magical life of Selena. Selena is a TRUE inpiration to ALL of us. I am sure Selena is watching over us somewhere over the rainbow :)

I REALLY recomend that you buy this movie. You'll love it like I loved it greatly.

Review: I saw this movie while I was in my Español Class. I really like the music and how it brings life into the class. Her music is upbeat, live, and quick. The entire class used to dance to her music, in fact, I used her music for my final and it turned out great! I LOVE her music!!¡Vivíras Selena!
