Review: I've watched this movie for a million times. The reason why I like it so much is not just a love story. But, my all-time favorite country idol, George Strait was the leading actor. I also like the ranch girl, Isabel Glasser. Man! She's gorgeous!:) It is a remantic movie that you can't miss if you're a big fan of Geroge!

Review: If you like country music this is your fairy tale. Dusty (George) is tired of the glitz and glamour of his growing success. He takes a pilgrimage to his roots to find his true inspiration. Armed with his original guitar, George returns to his band to perform the way he likes, one man, one guitar, no lights, no smoke. This is a great story with awesome George Strait music.

Review: If you like country music, comedy, and a bit of romance thrown in, you'll absolutely love this movie. The first time I saw it I fell in love. George Strait is just your all around cowboy sweetie! The songs will get your toes tappin and your hearts full of delight. Watch it!

Review: If you really like country music, you'll love this moive!! It's actually worth the effort of dragging you whole family to the tv. This is a great moive, with a nice ending, it is definatley worth the money you pay for it, or maybe get it at the library!

Summary: Strait carries it all the way to gold
Review: It may not be the most original movie, but the message and the acting are pretty amazing. George Strait, in his debut role no less, gives a wonderful performance as a burned out country star who wants to get back to his roots. He leaves the glitz and glamor of the big stage for the quiet and simplicity of the country life. It's a great message that sometimes the best in life are not the biggest, the fanciest. And George, between the soundtrack he adds to this movie and his acting, is fantastic.

Review: It's been a few years since I've seen this, but I remember it being enjoyable, a little bit of everything : comedy, drama, music. A somewhat predictable story line but overall well done....with some good country music to boot. I've always liked George Strait, and was pleasantly surprised by his seemingly effortless ability to act. He is completely at home in front of the camera, very natural. Leslie Anne Warren turns in a great supporting performance, too. One of her more memorable roles.If you like George Strait, you'll love this movie. If you're not a fan, you will be after you see this film!

Summary: Great Music, OK story, occasionally stupid dialogue
Review: OK if you don't like Strait's music you're unlikely to stick with this movie. BUT the music really does make this flick. The story is actually not all that outrageous though there are some really lame lines in several places. This is not a critics movie; it's a movie for people who like the leading man to get the girl and for the bad guy to get what's coming to him but if you can tolerate some predictability and like George Strait's music this is really not a bad way to spend just shy of two hours. The part that many will like is that this boy-meets-girl story relies not at all on their sleeping together but rather getting to know each other and spending time together.

Review: People looking for an academy award movie need not look here, however if your looking for a down home, just nice movie to watch , this is it! The soundtrack is fantastic, great music. The plot is pretty predictable, but what movie isn't today? This is just a feel good movie that is enjoyable to watch.

Review: Prue Country is one that should not be missed if you love American country music, in fact I think you will love this anyhow as the music is so great.
I am so glad that it is now available on DVD, I watched this film along time ago and I really loved it.
George Strait in incredible in it and so is his music, he also is very sexy. This man should have been in more movies.
It is a real music film and what is also so great there is a soundtrack to accompany it.
