Review: When I first saw this movie as a little girl, I loved it! Miss Piggy was, and still is, my favorite Muppet. There is an occasional violent scene, but Jim Henson's creative magic makes this the perfect family movie.

Review: It's not often that a movie of this calibur comes along. The Muppets have something magical about them that just goes to new heights in this movie. The plot is perfect for the Muppets, the performances of the actual characters is amazing, and it is altogether one great film that will leave you smiling. Amazon.com also has the lowest price I've ever seen on it including shipping. This video is definitely worth your money.

Review: This movie has been one of my favorites. I am glad I have it on video to watch whenever I feel down or just want to laugh. It gives a break from the real world. It also makes you wonder how to react to a puppet. Though Kermit and company are not just 'puppets', talking to a man-made character that is operated by someone is very strange thing. But for each of them they have seperate characteristics. I appreciate this movie more since I have actually spoken to a true puppet that had character. Like most kids who watch this movie and can still imagine, I would love to meet a Muppet, even if I do know how it works.

Review: I love this movie to death! I own it and I'm 13 and I watch it atleast once a week. The songs are the best! I really think amazon should carry the soundtrack because I have unsuccessfuly been trying to purchase it everywhere! Anyway, buy this video!

Review: Jim Henson was the true genius of our time. It's a shame to see the pablum kids have to suffer through nowadays-the brainless repetition of Barney, the perpetual Power Ranger battles, and cheesy "teen life" high school dramas. This was a fantastic movie debut-and the only movie Steve Martin and Richard Pryor were both in!

Summary: The best of all the Muppet movies! Crazy, fun, and weird!!
Review: In a time when children's shows are nothing more than mind numbing eye-candy, it's refreshing to revisit these movies. However, as a twenty-year-old lifelong fan, I feel a bit offended when the Muppets are so quickly dismissed as children's entertainment. The Muppets are amazingly complex and contain much more than catchy tunes and colorful characters. I've grown up with these guys (Gonzo will always be one of my heroes!!) and watching them in early adulthood is just as fun as watching them at four. The songs, the jokes (many of which younger viewers wouldn't understand), the cameo appearances (Uncle Milty and Steve Martin are my favorites), and all the greatest Muppets (Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzy, Mrs. Piggy, Crazy Harry, Sweetums, Lew Zealand, etc.) add up to entertainment of the highest caliber. This isn't a children's movie, this is anyone's movie. (Now if only they'd rerelease The Muppet Musicians of Bremen...)
