Summary: CATS RULE
Review: CATS is the best musical ever. I particularly love Rosemarie Ford as Bombalurina and Jo Gibb as Rumpleteazer. They're the greatest! I always sing CATS wherever I go - my friends think I'm crazy, but I do love it so! I've tried the movements myself. Wonderful exercise! CATS is mega cool!!!

Summary: THE coolest musical EVER
Review: It was so cool...all the songs were great...'specially Mr. Mistofelees, Rum Tum Tugger...and the Jellicle Ball. Elaine Paige, Ken Page, Jacob Brent and John Partridge were fantastic. I've watched it like maybe twice in three days..and I sing it in school and all my friends think I'm nuts but I can't help it...I'm absolutely in love with that film.

Summary: Don't Believe the Amazon.com Review!!!
Review: Twaddle? My eye (cat's eye, that is)! If all but one song in this musical was twaddle, than why is CATS the longest running musical in the history of the British theatre and Broadway? And this video is no exception. With John Napier's fantastic junkyard set, full of hiding places and magical surprises, beautiful costumes and make-up, and a stellar cast, CATS the Video has truly captured CATS in all of its splendor. With Ken Page as Old Deuteronomy, Elaine Paige as Grizabella, and Sir John Mills as Gus the Theatre Cat, you don't want to miss this!

Summary: A MUST BUY! For...........ANYONE!
Review: I am not a big musical fan. But, this turned me on.All the casting is superb. The re-recording with the 70 piece orchestra sounds crisp and marvelous.Elaine Paige's voice is wonderful and "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats" is the best.As is "Memory".Go buy it

Summary: It could have been better.
Review: Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love everything about the musical - the live musical, that is. The video is awful! The cast does wonderfully, but the production value is horrible. The editing is choppy, the music is practically canned, and the addition of "special effects" makes me cringe. Some of the scenes are hacked to bits, especially Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer, and then there's Growltiger's Last Stand (the most amazing scene IMO), which was nowhere to be found! This video takes away all the intimacy and subtlety of the stage version. It's a decent video, but it doesn't, in *any* way, come close to reliving the magic that is Cats.

Summary: Mistofelees steals the show!!
Review: While nothing can beat seeing a show live, I'm so glad that this musical is finally on video! I can watch it over and over at anytime I want and it only makes me wish that the next tour will hurry and comethrough or I can go see it in NY! This video offers many stunning performances, but by far the best is Jacob Brent as the Magical Mr. Mistofelees! He is an amazing dancer and the small glances and expressions he does makes his character the most lovable. I really think that anyone who loves this musical should own the tape.

Summary: Whoever hasn't seen it is missing out on soooooo much...
Review: CATS is the best movie/musical to ever be written and produced! Whoever has not seen this, this is a must-see. It may not be much for plot, but the music is unbeatable, and the costumes are fantastic! The staging is incredible, and the cast is a 5-star.... no make that a 10-star! But this is a must-see for the entire family. "The memory will live forever!"

Summary: You feel like you're sitting in the front row
Review: Although taped on the London stage and not in New York, this version provides similar memories to the live production in the U.S. It's one worth seeing over and over again.

Summary: FAMILYarity
Review: Beautiful choreography. Jazz, ballet, character-it's all there to see. This video is so reminiscent of some of the best choreographic style that came out of the 80's, not to mention the style of the costumes. This video was so easy to get into and understand, the whole family will surely enjoy it. I loved this video because it was easy to follow.
