Rating: Summary: An artfully crafted hilarious romp that takes no prisoners! Review: Those geniuses Matt and Trey have done it again! This film manages to take the biting self-parody which is South Park to new heights. Somehow, the longform medium of feature film seems almost a superior canvas for these artists' cardboard cut out "painting" to the weekly 23 minutes they get on Comedy Central. No group, sacred cow or religious belief is spared in "Bigger, longer and Uncut". It'll have the most ardent anti-South Park bunch even rethinking their position as, by about the first 30 minutes of the film, even THEY get the joke!
Rating: Summary: Funniest Movie Ever Made Review: Despite all the profanity and Raunchiness (which I enjoy :) ), this movie breaks all barriers for the movie industry, and made the funniest movie ever made. Go D.V.D.A.
Rating: Summary: Comic genius that takes the p*** out of our time ! Review: Crass and obscene to those too narrow to make it past the language, this is one of the funniest, and oddly enough, deeply subtle things to come out of America ever. The boys from South Park take us through this hilarious musical work, depicting the degredation of society's youth by swearing obscenities and kicking adult butt. All of which of course is blamed on the movies, Terence and Phillip, and then Canada. This movie deals with stereotyping, prejudice, racism and homosexuality, and the great thing is you can enjoy the whole lot whilst pissing yourself with laughter. Cynics will love this, and the music is brilliant.
Rating: Summary: Missed Chance Review: What a chance they had, what a mistake they made. I still don't know how a show so good could produce a movie so mind numbingly stupid,do yourself a favor if you like the show, stay away from the movie-it sucks real bad.
Rating: Summary: Bigger, Longer and Better Review: Part of what appeals to me most about this movie is that it allows Stone and Parker to share with us what they can't on cable television. This all stops pulled humor is hard to find today in movies. Just because the MPAA can slap is rating on a movie doesn't mean that it has to be "appropriate." If you don't like it, don't buy it, but if you have even the slightest sense of humor your sides will ache for weeks after seeing this movie. Buy it and watch it as often as time permits.
Rating: Summary: Hands down, the funniest movie ever made. Review: My one-line summary pretty much sums it up. I am proud of Trey Parker and Matt Stone for having the testicular fortitude to create this movie and for putting up with the crap that the MPAA has given them. Bottom line, this is a movie that should be seen by all, for it has to be seen to be belived.
Rating: Summary: funnier, longer, and better Review: The movie was so raunchy, so violent, and so funny. Definitely not for those who are offended easily.
Rating: Summary: Simply the funniest and most vulgar movie I have seen Review: Warning: if you're easily offended, not bright enough to catch subtle humor and social commentary amidst a barrage of profanity, or you haven't seen enough musicals to recognize a brilliant parody of one - you're not going to like this film. Otherwise, prepare to laugh yourself senseless. Poking fun at the ludicrous social mores that make violence and sex acceptable but the F-word taboo is just one way Trey Parker and Matt Stone make you think in this film. The music is brilliant, twisted and eerily reminiscent of every musical you've ever seen, and you'll find yourself humming long after you stop watching. I HIGHLY recommend this film to anyone who wants a great comedy.
Rating: Summary: Only for those with the lowest tastes in comedy...SO BUY IT! Review: Now, there are some of you out there who say "Oh, it's so stupid, I hate South Park!!". I am fortunately not one of them.....it was hilarious!! MAN!! It would be impossible to make a list of all the times my friend and I laughed during the movie....the only con I could think of was for about 1.5 seconds you had to stare at Big Gay Al's schlong....but other then that it ruled!! If you love the show I seriously suggest buying the movie....there are those of us who I wouldn't reccomend the movie for: those under fifteen(unless you think that they're mature enough), those who hate the show, and people who get offended by people who make fun of god. It's nothing big, there's this french kid who hates god, he had a really bad child hood(his mom tried to give herself an abortion with a coathanger or something while she was pregnant with him) so you can't really blame him, it was really funny though!! So you should seriously buy the movie cause it was hilarious!! Buy it!! NOW!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The greatest movie musical of all time Review: Whoever is alive and has not seen this movie should go out and see it at once. And if you're afraid you'll be offended, rest assured...you definitely will. No movie ever created has so effectively offended every single person who has ever seen it in one way, shape, or form. Any movie that can offend so deeply and still have everyone love it and laugh at themselves is worth an Oscar. This is a brilliant parody and satire of just about everything: war, censorship, racism, and movie ratings. And, oh yeah, I forgot...MUSICALS! The songs are terrific...great to sing along to...Disney never sang anything like this. Oh, and kids, don't watch this movie. It is evil and "will pervert your fragile little minds!"!!!!! I would recommend letting small children see this film. Fight censorship! Fight parental advisories! In short, FIGHT FILMS WITH POSITIVE MORAL VALUES!!
