Summary: great for music teachers!
Review: I am a jr. high chorus teacher. I teach in a black, lower income area. This is wonderful for the students to see black men with beautiful voices and what the world has out there for them. It is a GREAT introduction to opera/classical singing. It is infectious. This is great for ANY school. I love the popularity of singing pop songs with good technique. And above all, it's just downright entertaining. This fellas have it!

If you don't like their performance you'll have to be checked for a heartbeat. They are outstanding and you couldn't afford to pay what they are worth. Wow!

Review: By sheer luck alone I viewed this video. It breaks
all barriers of age and race and you would have to be dead not
to find yourself grinning and moving and just plain feeling great! Gospel, the temptations, opera, souful hymns and blues
you can feel in your shoes and then Cab Calloway's version of
mini the moocher. Nothing corny or old fashion, these guys are
hip, hilarious and subtle or boisterous. not for a second does
the show let down and if you don't believe me just check out the

faces of young and old. SMILING FROM EAR TO EAR. I watched it and
my only regret was that I could not watch it again (seen on PBS)
let's put it this way. I have NEVER seen a performance that made
my motor run like these guys can. From Opera to soul nobody can beat this trio..............WOW

Review: I watched this on PBS and was just amazed! It was the best show I have ever seen...I couldn't have enjoyed it more if I'd been in the theatre where they performed! These gentlemen are some of the greatest talents I've seen in years... I'm thrilled to be able to purchase this video. I have told eveyone I know about it.

Summary: They Rock, They Swing, They'll Move You To Tears!
Review: I just got this dvd in the mail and couldn't wait to check it out! These wonderful gentlemen put on one helluva show, and the way they move effortlessly from opera to R&B, from swing to Motown, back to opera and then to spirituals is a tribute to their talent and genius. The show is so fast-moving and eclectic that 80 minutes just fly by. I can't recommend this highly enough. In an age when black music and youth culture lean toward filthy mouth pimp-daddies with their hats on backwards, posturing, posing and grabbing their crotch, these gentlemen are a great example of what kids should consider aspiring to. Master P, Kurupt, Ice-T and Snoop Dog might have the fame and the dollars, but 3 MO' TENORS have something that these Rappers will NEVER have or can NEVER buy.....CLASS! Just fantastic!! The only thing is the tuxedos don't suit, making the performers look comical and they should be repaced with more appropriate attire like that of Georgia field hands circa. 1924. Plus, a couple of the musical selections don't quite fit the scene. "Nesun Dorma" and "La Dona Mobile" should be dropped and replaced with "Shortnin' Bread" and "De Camptown Ladies." Otherwise, it's a winner!!

Review: An absolutely enjoyable concert! Everything from Opera to blues. And all of it done brilliantly!! You will be applauding through the performances! Each one of these brilliant artists is amazing. They will make you laugh, cry, and sing along. You will stand up and shout! It will leave you wanting more.

I want to buy another one in case mine wears out!

Summary: Two DVDs in one!
Review: I can't say anything bad about Three Mo Tenors. It is scintillating from beginning to end. But I had the first video and somehow it has disappered from my collection. I would much prefer to have it.

If anyone has a copy I'll buy it from you. It was different!

It had some beautiful pieces on it that aren't on the new release.

It is one of the most outstanding musical experiences you will ever have but I'm partial to the first version. Everyone who has watched it at my house has broken into applause while watching. It is a special treat and we show it to everyone. Get one for yourself and one for a friend.

Review: "EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE KITCHEN SINK!!!"

I saw Three Mo Tenors in Columbia, SC in October, 2002!!! They were absolutely magnificant!!! I have not seen any performance that compares. These three gentlemen (Young, Cook, and Dixon)are certainly among classical music's absolute best! Not classical alone however, but music's best. An absolute must see and hear for any lover of any type of music. Even if you don't like music, they'll make you start. I was absolutely riveted, captivated, inspired, overjoyed, and moved to tears of absolute triumph and happiness. I have to see them again. I hope to go to Chastain Park in Atlanta on August 8, 2003. AN ABSOLUTE MUST SEE AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!!!
