Summary: Get the DVD, but DON'T BUY THIS VIDEO
Review: First off, I LOVE Sarah Brightman. The concert was SUPERB (and worth travelling to see), and the CD is awesome. BUT! This VHS is HORRIBLE! It's not even 60 minutes long for $24.99!!! Way too many songs were cut from the actual concert, and I could have edited this performance better with scotch tape. They may call Streisand a control freak, but Sarah Brightman should have been overseeing the editing of this video. Given the top notch quality of her performances, it's difficult to believe that this video would have gained her approval.

Summary: Mr. Walsh is so right !!!
Review: Sarah Brightman is a true diva and she will always be. Her technique and amazing grace are refreshing. But the sound quality of the video "La luna" is poor. Eventhough you can hear that the problem is not her voice but the editing, you can be dissapointed with the video. The sound is inconsistent sometimes and you can easily realize that the editing was done in a hurry. I went to this concert in Rochester and it was outstanding. Her former videos "Eden" and "In concert" are wonderful. The sound quality is great and you really feel you are in the audience.
But anyway, Sarah is excellent and the mistakes the editors made do not affect her beautiful image and performance in any way. Thanks Sarah. You are an angel. THE DVD FOR THIS SHOW IS EXCELLENT, SO I DECIDED TO EDIT MY REVIEW. THE VHS IS NOT SO GOOD BUT THE DVD QUALITY (SOUND AND IMAGE) IS AMAZING. THANKS SARAH FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT WITH US. LOVE, ROBERTO

Summary: I agree with Tim Walsh!
Review: I completely agree with the review of Tim Walsh....the live concert was so incredible and I was sad to see so many great songs missing. Why didnt they edit this one the way they did One Night in Eden? Sarah Brightman is amazing and I agree that she deserves so much better. Let's hope for the DVD to be complete! The songs werent even in the same order as the concert. Sorry Sarah...you really got ripped on this one! I would say the video is worth purchasing if you love Sarah, but it's just a shame that people not fortunate enough to see the live concert will miss so much.

Summary: WHERE'S THE REST OF THE CONCERT ?
Review: Although Ms.Brightman's voice is superb in "LA LUNA" live, the actual production of the VHS fails in comparison to "ONE NIGHT IN EDEN." I hope that the VHS is re-issued with more concert tracks. The end of the VHS concert is choppy with bad editing on Moon River and Con Te Partiro. Figlio Perduto and Question of Honour were both excellent, yet had that choppy effect. You can tell you're missing something.

Summary: Sarah shines, production could be better
Review: I must agree one hundred percent with the previous reviewer, though I will give the video 4 stars, just because it is Sarah and she is always wonderful. This video is edited very poorly--it looks like it was put together all rather quickly. Many songs are cut and there is nothing to make you feel like you are at the concert. Instead it feels like you are watching a music video. I was at the concert and it was so wonderful. This video is nothing more than a snapshot of how awesome the concert was. The dancers are ignored. There is not enough footage of the beautiful sets. All in all, "One Night in Eden" is ultimately superior as a video in terms of production. It is lavish and wonderful, and you get to see everything. (It also is a half hour longer and has an artist interview) "La Luna" the video is just not as good. But since it is Sarah and the music is great, I love it anyway. Hopefully they will learn from this and hire a better director next time.

Summary: La Luna - La Loser
Review: I actually saw Sarah Brightman's La Luna concert in Chicago. While the concert was spectacular, other worldly, etheral, the video is an edited mess. Songs and costumes are presented out of order and at least 5 songs had been cut entirely. If you want one of Sarah's videos, I suggest One Night in Eden.

Summary: Sarah Deserves Better Than This.........
Review: Let me start by saying that I saw this concert in Portland last October and it was amazing. No... Astounding! Sarah looked stunning, sounded perfect and the stage set was wonderful. However, the production on this VHS release nearly ruins it all. I was suspicious when I saw the running time of 59 minutes.....I recall the concert being almost 2 full hours. There are at least 5 songs missing here and there is never more than a second of audience reaction between the songs. The editing is very choppy and disjointed. She has a small troupe of dancers and a chorus that are all but ignored by the cameras. The wonderful "Question of honour" sequence ( probably the highlight of the show! ) is totally ruined by poor camera work. "Winter in July", which set the tone of the show early on, is missing, "Moon River" is butchered down to one minute and suddenly she's singing "time to say goodbye". The production values on this video are embarrassing, especially after how amazingly the "One Night In Eden" video was produced. I'm praying the DVD release will leave the entire concert intact...it was an excellent show and deserves to be seen in it's entirety. Honestly, an artist like Sarah deserves better than this.

Summary: Sarah Brightman
Review: I was first introduced to Sarah Brightman via PBS. The range and versatility of her voice was well beyond what I considered to be a beautiful voice. This is comparing to the Mozart CDs I have produced by Acadey of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and Tori Amos, Sarah Mclachlan, Enya and the like. In a months time after seeing her on PBS I bought all of her CDs and enjoyed all of them and recommended them to all of my friends. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attent the 2nd part of her la luna tour.. but that may change.

Summary: Sarah--the ultimate diva
Review: I saw the actual concert and the video on PBS. Although a video can never capture the magic of a live performance...this one comes close. Sarah is dramatic, touching, and bordering on a religious experience in this performance. She knows what her audience wants and gives them even more. Some parts were surprising...in a good way. Sarah is a gem with a beautiful voice that she uses to transport you to other realms and fantastic places. She's at her prime in this video.

Summary: The best concert of all time
Review: Sarah Brightmans has the most buetifull voice. She is extremely talented, no other artists out there have a deep imagination and creativity to their show like her. I saw her in the La luna concert and was amazed and all other 15 thousand people my parents and brothers were all influenced by it and so were the people who all were captivated. Sarah didn't give the Audience a momment to relax it was all fast and buetiful and each song offered a different setting and Imagary. I loved the concert so much that I had to have it on DVD. This is deffinetly one you have to own. It shows you highlights or the show.
