Review: I just happened accross this show on PBS while flipping channels one night. What a pleasant surprise !! I totally LOVED this whole show...every minute of it !! I especially enjoyed Micahel Ball singing "Gesthemane"..for those few minutes, Mr. Ball WAS JESUS. I could see the anguish on his face and hear the torment in his voice. This Video is worth buying for this performance alone. Antonio Banderas was surprisingly good, and Glenn Close was superb !! I can't reccommend this video highly enough..If I was able to give 100 stars, I would have.

Review: Wow! What can I say? Try to image a concert full of the most talented singers in the world singing some the most beautiful songs in the world. It seemed that the concert was basically one big promotion of ALW's new musical, Whistle Down The Wind, but the songs from there are amazing, so all's forgiven. P.S. Antonio Banderas is one UNIQUE Phantom. His performance with Sarah Brightman is NOT to be missed!

DONNY OSMOND, I FORGOT, HAS ONE OF THE CLEAREST VOICES OF ALL TIME.YES, I COULD EAT ANTONIO UP WITH A SPOON..I LOVE HIS RASPY VOICE...BUT MURRAY'S HEAD...VERY COOL...NICE FIRM WELL ROUNDED......VOICE!!! (AHEM)..WHAT REALLY KEEPS ME COMING BACK FOR MORE IS MICHEAL BALLS' PERFORMANCE. NEVER EVER HAVE I SEEN SUCH A BALL OF TALENT ALL ROLLED INTO ONE FINE MACHINE...A PORCHE?? Review: The video and the show were AMAZING!!! but, why the hell is Mr. Banderas singing something out of his possibilities??? He can't do something the great Michael Crawford did, he's no one to do that... I loved Glenn Close, she's one of this years big stars...

Review: My first meeting with Sarah Brightman and Michael Ball. My second with Elaine Paige. I was overwhelmed by Sarah Brightman's voice, its purity and clarity. I could listen to her for hours. In fact, I intend to by rounding up all of her other music. Then of course, there was that stunning duet of Michael Ball and Sarah and I was totally flabbergasted by the pairing of two fantastic voices. Michael Ball had already floored me with the song he sang as Christ. This is a video I've watched well over 50 times since I've had it. A great musical treat all around. As for Elaine Paige, well. What can one say. She's incomparable. Bravo! Encore! Encore!

Review: This collection is a must have for all Webber fans. This "Celebration" reintroduced me to the magnificent power of Michael Ball. His performance of Gethsemane (I Only Want to Say) is the most moving rendition I have ever heard. His presence on stage is magical. His single silouhette fills the entire stage. He alone is reason enough to add this to your collection. Donny Osmond is great. Elaine page as Evita is superb. Michael Crawford was sorely missed. Antonio Banderas is suprisingly good but not able to fill Mr. Crawfords shoe's as the Phantom. If you love Andrew Lloyd Webber you will Love spending two hours enraptured by his genius.
