Summary: Remake of Lord of the Dance
Review: There's one critical piece of information missing on this video's description -- this is a remake (a very bad one at that) of Lord of the Dance. I thought Flatley had produced a brand new show; little did I know. Having watched Lord of the Dance just a few months ago, the basic story line and choreography was still fresh in my mind. As soon as the first dancers came out on the stage I knew it looked familiar. Yes, the costumes are new (I didn't say better), the set is bigger (I didn't say better again), the music has been reworked, and the crowds are larger, but it is still basically Lord of the Dance. What happened? He had a good thing going and had to ruin it. I agree with others that this reminds me of a Las Vegas review, not a program highlighting traditional Irish dancing. Flatley's a good dancer, but has an ego that exceeds his talent. My recommendaton: Don't waste your money. See River Dance, see Lord of the Dance, and stop there.

Summary: AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE FOR ALL AGES
Review: I NEVER IMAGINED I WOULD WATCH A MUSICAL SUCH AS THIS. IM ONLY 30 YRS. OLD, AND COULDNT BELIEVE HOW THIS VIDEO TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. THE PROBLEM IS, VERY FEW PEOPLE MY AGE ARE AWARE OF MICHAEL AND HIS ABILITYS.BETWEEN THE INCREDIBLE MUSIC SCORE AND LIGHT SHOW, THERE IS A STORY TO BE TOLD. MANY PEOPLE MY AGE WATCH MOVIES FOR VIOLENCE,ACTION, AND OFCOURSE SEXUAL CONTENT. I MUST ADMIT, THE DANCERS ARE SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN THE WORLD. IN THIS VIDEO, THE SOUND AND INSTRUMENTS ARE AMPLIFIED FOR BETTER QUALITY AND EFFECT. THE ONLY TRUE PROBLEM WITH THIS VIDEO IS IT DOESNT LAST LONG ENOUGH.

Summary: The most incredible thing I have EVER seen!
Review: Wow! Words cannot describe just how good FEET OF FLAMES is! Basically its a rehash of his LOTD show with added bells, whistles and more besides! Fantastic! Stunning! Again! Again! More!!!! The production and camerawork is much better this time, it has the look and feel of a glitzy hollywood epic. Michaels dancing is superb...watch the final solo Feet of Flames if you dont beleive me. Wow! What a video! Buy it! NOW!!!

Summary: His best ever
Review: I agree this is Michael Flatley's finest. I saw Lord of the Dance live and it could've lasted for years and still been over too soon, but Feet of Flames surpasses anything he has ever done. My only complaint is the soundtracks aren't live recordings and don't include the dancing sounds!

Summary: GROOVY BABY!!!!!
Review: Feet of Flames is the single most greatest thing to be popped into a VCR since, well...Feet of Flames is unmatched. Fans of Irish Dancing and newcomers alike will be completely enthralled in the latest improvement of the hit stage show Lord of the Dance. Lead dancer and creator Michael Flatley first entered the limelight with the hit show Riverdance. And now exits it with a tremendous bang, strutting his stuff on one of the largest stages constructed in London, performing his heart out to 25000 spectators from around the world, and to the millions glued to their TVs at home.

Summary: The best yet!
Review: If you thought Lord of the Dance couldn't be topped, you are in for a wonderful surprise. Michael Flatley and his troupe have outdone themselves. The entire production, from concept to execution, is superb. The only thing wrong with this video is that there isn't enough of it, or of Michael. But there never is! This historic performance may never be surpassed. The electricity generated by the audience and by Michael's obvious love for his production reaches out and grabs you. Michael - forever dancing in our hearts.

Summary: A predictable conclusion(?) of the "Lord's" talents.
Review: I think we (Flatheads) can all agree that Michael has inordinate talent which he has more than shared with the world (and equally documented it via video tapes, CDs, etc. for posterity's sake or his own hubristic whim). However, I believe it is getting to be redundant and almost impossible to out-do (not anyone else, but himself!) From the looks of the audience, it appears that he is "appealing" to a somewhat younger audience. He is almost becoming trite and somehow comical in his attempts to deliver in an almost trashy/pseudo seductive manner (who is it he's trying to "seduce", anyway? and where does he stop, already?) While many of the diehard Flatheads will never tire of him, I "been there, done that" and credit where it's due - he is a talented guy, no doubt, but high time to move on. I thank him for bringing/sharing his talents with us mere mortals, but I live an eclectic life and embrace all cultures and talents of the world and cannot afford to limit myself to but one of the many that life has to offer. I love life and all of its harvests so it is almost unfair to "limit" my focus on but one of them. I move on to the endless continuum of life's other bountiful riches/experiences! In this respect, watch the video, appreciate it, put it in context and MOVE ON!!

Summary: A performance that will NEVER be matched!
Review: Although seeing this show live would certainly be a treasured memory of any fan, this video perfectly captures the energy of the greatest dance show ever concieved. This immense production brought together, for the first time, the two troupes that continue to tour Europe and North America. The results have to be seen to be believed. There are also some wonderful surprises, new music and dance routines, and a finale by Michael Flatley of stunning raw talent. This video will literally leave you breathless at the credits.
