Summary: Rhythm Beyond Words
Review: STOMP is truely a group whose talents for syncopation, timing, and rhythm are nothing short of phenomenal. The ability of the cast of STOMP to create such dynamic and wonderful sounds from mundane objects is remarkable. The range of sounds that they can extract from trashcan lids, basketballs, brooms, wooden rods, and a kitchen (yes the whole kitchen) puts them on a level with some of the greatest permormers of all time. And the rhythms that they create are so mind-bogglingly (bit of artificial word usage here) complex and perfect, that it is a wonder that a group of human beings can create something of this magnitude, without a single mistake. Anyone who has an appreciation for music, dance, and comedy should own "STOMP OUT LOUD!" Buy this DVD with all haste!

Summary: Babies and preteens loved the video. . . not surprising.
Review: Stomp Out Loud was shown as an end-of-the-year treat to the 5th & 6th grades. . . what a treat. The students LOVED it. I rerented it to show my 2 1/2 year and 10 month old grandchildren, they were enchanted with the rhythms as well. Needless to say I loved it too

Review: This amazing rhythmic group displays both musical and athletic capabilities of the performers. These talented musicians turn ordinary objects into musical instruments, playing complicated rhythms. If you enjoy high energy, steady rhythm, wonderful coriography, and a good laugh, I strongly reccomend Stomp Out Loud.

Summary: My new favorite DVD
Review: This disk is awesome! While it is lacking is special features, (the features force you do to a lot of reading instead of showing videos of interviews etc.) the video and sound are incredible. The way that they captured the sound from the stage, pipes, road, basketballs, etc. makes it seem as though you are right there! All I need now is the Blueman Group DVD and I'll be set!

Review: this is so cool what they do is make songs and the songs have no words but 1 song. But what they do is they use like household objects like pots and pans really cool. This is also a great movie for teachers also.
