Review: I have been a Diana Ross fan since seeing her play Dorothy in "The Wiz". She played the part so well. She needs to be given parts like this more often.. Diana you go girl.As far as Brandy, I have watched her and liked her since her days on Thea. Brandy is an overall talent. Whether she is acting or singing she does it well. Brandy you go girl.

Summary: WONDERFUL !!!!!!! **** Two Thumbs Up!!
Review: I thought the movie was beautifully rendendered. This movie focused on many issues that are present in today's society as far as the family structure is concerned. It also focused on issues that some people face when they must choose between family life or fame. As we all know, relationships between parents and children can become strained due to the work environment, stardom and etc. However, I also feel the movie was rushed just a bit. It jumped from one timeframe to another with little indication of what was going on or how the movie proceeded to the next step. The movie crew should have focused more on past timeframes: how did Kayla grow up...what did her mother do to silence her "demons" for leaving her baby...what was it like for Kayla's dad....when did Kayla realize she was musically inclined....etc. Overall, the movie was fantastic and touching. Ms. Ross, Brandy, keep up the good work!

Review: I thought this was a well written movie but Ms. Ross overacted a bit and Brandy wasn't convincing enough. Also, it went too quick to be so real.

Review: I'm a huge brandy fan, and anything she's a part of I'm there! cause Brandy spells Quality! I mean the acting on both of there parts deserved an oscar! The title of this dvd should have been called "the divas tale" because they both showed that there both very beautifull,classy ,multi talented african american women and deserve nothing less than the title of divas!

Summary: Screenwriter should never touch another script again
Review: I've always respected Diana as an actress and the same respect goes to Brandy as well. This movie was the pits and I was sorry that these two talented ladies were wasted in it! Not only does it have the most tired, overdone plots in film history, but it had the most tired scripts I have heard since Poetic Justice. The extra star is only because of their stage performances. It should have been a VH1 "Diva" special instead.

Review: It is in full-screen. I hate full screen. The edges are always cut off (that makes the dvd incomplete). The only time I can stand full-screen dvd is if it is a tv show, music video (which some are widescreen) or a cartoon. The only time I'll buy a movie in full-screen (such as this one) is if that is the only format it comes in and I really want it! This is a great movie. Brandy and Diana Ross go Hand-In-Hand. They make a great combination. This is a must own for any Brandy or Diana Ross fan!
