The acting is terrific and so is the sining and dancing! I loved all of it. Plus the newsies were incredibly good-looking. Everyone in my family enjoyed it and so will you! END

Summary: The BEST Music, Characters, and Dancing
Review: Newsies is a nice alternative to traditional musicals. It has the spice that makes it apply to teenagers, and is also something that you want to make your parents sit and watch with you. The music is upbeat. Everything is well acted and beautifully choriagraphed. The intensity of the actors is amazing. The developement of the characters makes you feel like you know them personally, they could almost be in your living room. When Jack sings the reprise to Santa Fe it makes me want to cry, from the emotion that is poored into it. David adds a touch of sophistication to Seize the Day. Mush and Kid add the right touch to make me laugh. Crutchy is just too cute not to love. The plot never leaves me wondering, but i didn't expect what was going to happen next. A perfect balance. The romance between Sarah and Jack is subtle, but sweet. By the end Pulizer and Hearst make you want to ring their neck!! It is all amazing!! It will be at the top of my list forever, and I will NEVER stop sing the songs!! END

Review: Newsies, which did terribly at the box office when it opened in 1992, has since become a favorite among many. The film has everything a fan could want:characters you love, characters you love to hate! It has song and dance with a plethora of talented, energetic kids. When Jack (Christian Bale) and David (David Moscow) round up their fellow newsies to strike against the "evil" doings of newspaper giant Joseph Pulitzer, you can't help but cheer them on. END
