Summary: All Director's Tracks Should Be This Good!
Review: I admit I was waiting a while for this disc to come out. I was in no way dissapointed by this great Troma release. I had no idea that the show was ever done live, but to actually see it, I tell ya I got chills. This movie is truley the precursor to South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. Now if only that disc had a Director's track.

Summary: This is the Greatest Musical Ever Made!
Review: It took me a month to find a video store where I could rent this film. All of that work was well worth it. Trey Parker is a genius, and the cast is incredible. I have all of the songs from this movie stuck in my head. This is the greatest musical ever made! The story line is brilliant, and the scenery is beautiful, I guarantee that if you like Trey's style of humor, you will love this movie. If you don't like Trey's style, you will probably like this movie anyway. See it, you won't be sorry.

Summary: Are you lookin' at my eye?
Review: For anyone that saw South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut, or Orgazmo, and was turned off by the swearing or inappropriate content, this movie is unbelievably funny with little swearing and almost no sexual references. If you loved the sex and swearing of those first two, and could go for some violence to boot, this movie is the greatest! The violence is almost nonstop, but it's not as disturbing as it is goofy. They use a ridiculous amount of blood and gore. It's hilarious. I recommend this movie for anyone that isn't a Puritan. By the way, what is it with Trey Parker and Mormons?

Are you lookin' at my eye? ARE YOU LOOKIN' AT MY EYE?

Summary: Cannibal - B Movie on Steriods
Review: If you like spoofs, cheap movies, poor effects, and silly humor, you'll like this movie. Low budget, I think by buying a copy of the VHS, I paid 1/2 of the development costs. This makes Attack of the Killer Tomatoes look like a classic of film work. Oh you can enjoy the film and have a good time. I suggest having several beers before watching though. The humor will make more sense. I loved South Park the movie, this ways obviously their first attempt at a movie and they needed the practice. The songs use many of the same music from the Southpark TV show. The Braniff-Beleive It sounds are constantly playing in the music for this movie which was a little confusing. Frankly, it looked like a college film school project.

Summary: Troma makes an art film?
Review: Just when I thought the musical was dead, here comes Trey Parker and Matt Stone to reinvent and destroy the art. Deep inside parkers demented mind lies a real music talent. This should be taken to Broadway.

Summary: Shpadoinkle!
Review: Trey Parker wrote and stars in this hilarious musical about a group of men heading to Colorado in search of gold...among other things. This is the best musical about cannibals that I've ever seen! The songs kept me laughing. You have to strecth your imagination a little, but it's definitely worth it!

Summary: Good, not great.
Review: I heard about this video a couple years ago at a video booth for Troma at a video producers show. I liked Trey Parker's other stuff and when I saw the flyer for the flick I was all up on getting it. That was until that I found out that due to it's limited distribution it was not available for rental in my market and available for sale in only a few places usually for around $70. I didn't want to see it THAT bad. I learned of the re-release through Amazon and bought it. Overall I loved the songs. They are cheeky and fun but the jokes were pretty thin. I was amazed at the quality given this is a film school production and the overall concept was humorous. If you are big Trey fan or love silly songs get it. If not, save your money.

Summary: We Ate Our Shoes!
Review: Lovable doofus Alferd Packer is drafted under duress into leading an inexperienced team of gold prospectors into Colorado Territory. The team becomes horribly lost and is threatened by a diminishing food supply and lack of morale among the men. After Packer returns as the only survivor, he is charged with the crime of cannibalism, but the truth is a bit more complicated. Jam-packed with hilarious musical numbers, jokes and sight gags, this is a movie for the whole family as long as the whole family is horribly twisted. Make sure to watch it all the way through the credits for the disclaimer at the end! This movie was stolen by a local ne'er-do-well from my favorite video store and my only option was to buy it. Pop it in, share it with your friends, and bond with them over this celebration of the human spirit!
