Review: I liked this movie a lot.Firsth time on TV when I saw it in the 70-ties in Sweden, we had hillariously laughing, and we remember Danny Kaye forever in Our Hearts. "Be Smart...with his finger on his Nose,was extremely funny... though a sense moral was in That message from the Past to the Future.

Review: The Inspector General is a delightful comedy starring Danny Kaye. The situations and music allow Kaye to shine in this often overlooked film. The hilarious song "Yakov's Golden Elixir" showcases Danny Kaye's ability to take a small role and make it a character to remember. This film, though slow at times, is a must-see for anyone who loves the old song and dance movie-musicals of the 1940's.

Review: This movie is almost as good as The Court Jester, also staring Danny Kaye. He is a travelling sales man who is mistakenly thought to be the Inspector General by a small corupt village. There is alot of homor and singing and all in all very entertaining. It's one you can watch over and over without getting sick of it.
