Rating: Summary: Great! Review: The first time I went to see this it was flippin' great. No one is too old for it and everybody would enjoy it. The story is about The Five Girls other wise known as the spice girls, Mel C, Mel B (well know she is Mel G), Emma, Geri (who happily left (thank god) and Emma. There is 7 days to prepare for their big show, their performing live, they are also on the run! Will they have enough time to get there. This has been added to my collection and it is one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Rating: Summary: there is no point. Review: it is dumb.this movie has no point and it is boring. the spice just are not cool anymore. ever since geri quit the spice girls lost popularity.now that the movie came out they got really unpopular.
Rating: Summary: GIRL POWER RULES!!! Review: Since the Spice Girls broke into the US charts with "Wannabe", they have been scorned as making "bubblegum" pop music. However, the truth is the Girls are much more than that. They do write their own music, which is more than one can say about similar "teen" acts like Britney Spears or N Sync for that matter. Every song on this album is commendable because they are all well-written and well-produced. "Spice up your life" is a cool party song, and so is "Never Give up on the Good Times" which recalls the Supremes. "Stop" is another catchy pop song, complete with a danceable motown-inspired groove. "Too much", which is the theme song to the movie "Spiceworld" is a beautiful ballad obviously inspired by big bands of the early Hollywood era. Very classy indeed. The only hiccup on the album is "Move over", which is featured on the Pepsi commercials on TV. With the girls chanting "Generation Next" over and over again, it sounds like a crass marketing tool. Real Spice fans should check out the import version of "Spiceworld", which features a bonus track "Step to me" which was originally written for the Pepsi commercial. It is a very catchy dance tune that should have been included on the US release, instead of "Move Over". Overall, "Spiceworld" is a worthy follow-up to "Spice". The Girls could've chosen the obvious hit-making route and collaborated with producers like Babyface, Timbaland or Sean "Puffy" Combs to ensure US chart success, but instead they chose to stick with their "Spice" producers Absoulte and Watkins/Stent. And that shows that they are sticking to their guns and making music by their own rules, not those dictated by the industry. GIRL POWER!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: TOO MUCH FOR FIVE YEAR OLDS! Review: This movie is for 5-7 year olds.I'ts dumb.My friend wanted too see it but I told her no beacuse she might die of bordom.I hate this,it's soooo stupid. My 6 year old cousin saw this even and said it's boring.I hate this movie!
Rating: Summary: Don't even bother. Review: This movie has no point. This movie is also boring. I though this movie was going to be good but it ended to be the worst movie I have ever seen. I was very disapointed. If there were -100 on the scale I would give it that.
Rating: Summary: 1st Album Better Review: Well, first of all I think that their first album was a little better. My favorite tracks on SPICE are - Wannabe, Say You'll be there, 2 Become 1, Love Thing, Mama, Who do you...., and If u can't dance. But i do think the Spice Girls should get on with their lives, just because Geri left Doesn't mean the end of the world. When I heard my albums, I noticed Geri didn't sing much in their songs. I have 3 cd's, 2 are their albums, and the other is a CD single called GOODBYE which doesn't have Geri on it.
Rating: Summary: A movie fans will love... but only the fans. Review: Been a fan of the Spice Girls for quite some time now. Love their music, but I can't lie. This movie has one of the worst story lines ever created. I really hate that part when they say they're really hot and need a fan, then a screaming girl comes running in. I mean, come on, that was just too lame. The editor must have been on crack when he let that slip. As much as I hate to do it, I can't go any higher than 2 stars on this one. Sorry girls.
Rating: Summary: Good Movie Review: i got this movie as soon as it came out but never got around to writing a review. 1. i really really really wanna... see this movie on DVD 2. i loved this movie, i thought it was funny 3. i thought the aleins and the fake bus-jump were tacky, but thats it. 4. see #2
Rating: Summary: It Spices up your stereo-big time Review: The spice girls have done it again with a great album. The album has a wide range of pop music and is really enjoyable to listen to. First it starts with the latin carnival type tune of Spice Up Your Life which really does spice up your stereo. It then goes on to the 60s style song with STOP which is incredibly catchy. Then the spice girls slow it down with the nice harmonies of Too Much which really shows off the girls vocal talents. Again it is back to a up beat pop song with Never Give Up on the Good Times which is the who do you think you are version on this album. Then there is Move Over which is the song the girls used to advertise Pepsi drink. Then there is Do it which again, is very catchy. It really shows off Sporty Spices voice at the beginning. Then there is the gangster type song of Denying which has a bit of R&B feel towards it. Then there comes Viva Forever. This is the softest song on the album with sweet harmonies and catchy tunes. This songs video clip has the girls as faries dancing around and is very magical. Then the trumpets play to the tune of THE LADY IS A VAMP which plays tribute to Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O it also plays tribute to themselves with the final words being .scary, baby, ginger, posh, sporty, yes now thats the lot,we re the spice girls ready to roll, ladies and gents, please take your seats and we hope that you enjoy the show.... and you will HOT SONGS OFF THE ALBUM WHICH REACHED No1 In UK No1-Spice Up Your Life No1-Too Much No1- Viva Forever No2-Stop
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: I love it. I think the Spice Girls are great. And you couldn't get a better video or band.
