Rating: Summary: FINALLY, A GREAT DVD OF TOM AND THE BOYS Review: I'VE SEEN MOST OF WHAT TOM PETTY HAS ON DVD AND THIS SURPASSES EVERYTHING OUT THERE.THE WHOLE PROGRAM IS BEAUTIFULLY DONE AND YES HE DOES ROCK ALSO. HOWEVER TOM'S MUSIC IS MORE THAN ROCK AND ROLL. HE'S OLDER AND WISER HERE AND SHOWS HIS EXPIERENCE ON EVERY SONG. EVEN THE SLOWER SONGS GET THE ROYAL TREATMENT. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE OTHER DVD'S UNLESS YOU CAN FIND A COPY OF "PACK UP THE PLANTATION". I FOUND A COPY "FROM VHS TAPE TO DVD" ON EBAY. DONE CIRCA 1985, IT ROCKS...
Rating: Summary: For true Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers lovers Review: This DVD is different - a little more tame. It's an opportunity to hear Tom and the boys do some standards and some different stuff. If you are looking for rock and roll - you may be disappointed. Personally, I love it - but I love anything Tom does!
Rating: Summary: Very Well Done Concert DVD Review: This is a first class DVD. Picture and sound are outstanding. Tom and the boys are in top form here. The eight bonus songs on disc 2 are very good. This band is so much better live. A lot of highlights on these two discs. If you ever thought about buying a Tom Petty DVD get this one.
