Rating: Summary: Worth the wait Review: I'm as old as GT's career and I've been listening to them since I was born (and that's no lie). I had the DVD on hold for me for three months before they stopped pushing the release date back and finally sent it. While first I expected more to it, I did fall in love with it. The videos are fairly exceptional for the time (remember, this was the 80's) and the commentary is halarious at times. The bonus footage is often very funny and worth seeing. I had no idea these guys were so outgoing, but they're actually really fun to watch, over and over and over. With the exception of the drummer, Michael Hanson, you'll get a charge out of Sam (the keyboardist who's always smiling), Al (the guitarist who is quieter but still likes to laugh), Alan (the incredibly energetic frontman), and Wayne (the goof of the group). Some of the videos are nothing special (according to Alan, "what were we thinking, what was anybody thinking?!" and "we would NEVER do this today"), while others are very memorable and unique such as "I Will Be There" filmed on Table Top Mountain, "Thin Red Line" involving Kilts, and "Animal Heart" where the lust of the song seems to be responded through Alan's explicit expressions. I'll bet no one will even understand what the video is implying so I'll come out an say it: the girl is the tiger, Alan is the eagle. How many of you figured that out? I really hope these guys can keep recording because they're one of few groups that didn't part ways on bad terms and are still in to it for the music. Way to go guys!
Rating: Summary: A Must Have for All Tiger Fans Review: The new DVD No Turning Back includes all the big hits with the original videos from the 80's as well as two new videos for the new singles. Most videos can be watched with band commentary on if you choose and it's hillarious!!!!
