Summary: Amazing Performance in Texas!!
Review: Having been somewhat disappointed with their latest album, I suppose I'd lowered my expectations for this first-ever Mavericks concert DVD release.

I was very stupid to do that.

This DVD totally blew me away. It sounds unbelieveable. Having never seen the Mavericks live in concert, I was simply amazed at the vitality of their energetic performance and the musical versatility they displayed...from swinging numbers like "Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down" to the gentle spanish guitar ballad "Besame Mucho."

The highlights for me were watching Raul let his vocal range loose on the impromptu "Love Me" and the swaying, almost drunken "Volver Volver." Outstanding...I own a sizeable collection of concert DVDs - this is one of the best.

The DVD also includes a nifty 25-minute documentary on the band's career - including interviews with each band member. Mavs fans can't go wrong with this.
