Summary: Awesome!!! But made me a little dizzy
Review: First of all, I would like to say that I was really blown away by this DVD. . .Amy sounds awesome! I missed their concert when it was in town and now I really wish I hadn't. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical after hearing so many reviews about how Amy can't sing live and I'd seen her on awards shows and wasn't really impressed although the sound on award shows is never really good either. I had watched a few clips of her on Yahoo Launch that actually cracked me up they were so bad. But!!! I gave in and purchased this DVD last night and watched it immediately and was very impressed, not only with Amy's powerful voice. . but at how well the band seemed to get along. .I loved the behind the scenes footage. . especially with Seether. . .Shaun Morgan cracked me up in that dress. . the gags and jokes were hilarious! The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because like some of the other reviewers the constant shifting of the camera did make me a little dizzy. .the surround sound kicks butt on my system though so even if you don't watch the whole thing it sounds awesome!

Summary: Amateur sophmoric production on this DVD.
Review: First of all, it's only 1 DVD discs, not 2. I don't know why Amazon lists it as being 2 discs.

The editing and production on this DVD is quite bad and amateurish. The concert has a lot of fast cuts such that you can't even see Amy Lee singing that much. The sound is just so so, and lacks the impact and feel that the album does. Amy Lee sings powerfully and wonderfully, but it frankly sounds weird and lacking in the mix on this DVD.

The included music videos are a good added bonus but the extra 'behind the scenes' material is practically worthleses unless you like seeing the band members acting really childish and stupid. Think spitting and throwing sodas at each other, etc. There is no creative substance in the bonus material whatesoever and it reflects quite poorly on the band. They all come across seeming really shallow, empty and childish which I found odd because the music is so much better than that.

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star is because I like Evanscence and this is the only concert DVD out. But you will probably dissapointed in this DVD.

Summary: Outstanding performance
Review: First off, Evanescence must be congradulated on such an awesome show and amazing cover art. Here's a run down of the concert, so people have an idea of what it sounds like.
The CD starts off with an intro where all you can hear is the fans screaming, and the synthesizer humming in the backround. The screams escalade, indicating the band has arrived, and sure enough a few chords are pounded out of the guitars and Haunted kicks off the set.
The bands thunders their way straight into Going Under without pasing for a second, and Amy's voice scrapes the bottom of her range, growling hoarsely before ascending into her usual range. At the end of the song Amy thanks Paris and they move on to Taking Over Me, which is basicly the same version as on the album except with the middle of the song extended slightly. Everybody's Fool comes next, certainly not their greatest preformance, but definately worth hearing to hear Amy's obvius aggression.
The band sweeps into a pano-lead cover of Korn's Thoughtless, which is pulled off beautifully and gives you a pumped feeling after listening to it. My Last Breath follows next, then Farther Away, an outtake from Fallen that many people will not have heard before. A great preformance, with an elongated begining and end, and an excellent mix of squealing guitars and tribal drums.
The band slows down for the next two songs, starting with Breathe No More, another outtake. The live version involves the whole band, not just the piano as it was recorded. Some of the acostic guitar has a flamenco feel to it, just adding to the texture of the song. My Immortal follows, beautifully sung. Amy stops singing the chorus the first time through and the crowd is audible, singing along to the piano.
The next song, Bring Me To Life, was the only song that I was disappointed with. It's sung out of key, and honestly I'm not a fan of John LeCompt's vocals, but there are good moments. The beginning of the song is mesmerizing, a slow piano intro playing as Amy sings saprano, the highest note almost sounding unhumane. From there it becomes steadily worse, but thankfully the band doesn't even pause before grinding into Tourniquet.
During the string ending of the song, Amy announces that the next song will be their last. Imaginary is performed, with a solid ending instead of trailing off like on the CD, but otherwise the same version on Fallen.
There's a long pause in the music and all that's heard is the fans' screaming for an encore. They get it, and the set wraps up with Whisper. Missing is included as an unreleased track, though it seems a little out of place after the loud live set.
The DVD contains all sorts of extras, and anyone with even a mild sense of humour will be rolling around on the flor laughing. All together this is an excellent CD/DVD package to have for any fan of Evanescence.

Summary: Exceeded Expectations
Review: I am a long time Evanescence fan and have long waited for a DVD. Here it is. I knew Amy Lee wouldn't have it any other way but to have a kick-ass DVD to release. Even so, It exceeded my expectations. If you have seen Evanescence live, you will love this. If you haven't seen or heard live recordings you may be surprised to hear the spin Amy Lee puts into her live shows. She gives a little growl in Going Under and is captivating in her performance of My Immortal.

The menues were very well done and are a tribute to just a small amount of the emmense creativity of Amy Lee. The behind the scenes segment capture the personality of the band very well and accurately depict life on the road. I am the son of a guitarist who toured during much of my childhood. I remember living so much of the lifestyle shown and can say first hand that it is not skewed to advertising bias. An included blooper reel has you chuckling right along with the band.

Doing something a little new, Amy Lee throws in a cover of Thoughtless during her show and in my opinion outdid the original. On the CD is also an added track of the previously unreleased song, Missing. This song in my opinion should have been performed during their show. It is an amazing peice of work. I was glad to finally have a high quality copy of that recording.

This album captures the energy of the crowd and the band. A must in any music collection.

Summary: hard to watch
Review: I enjoy Evanescence; they do have some great songs. I'm interested in whether or not they can pull off another successful recording. I doubt it, but time will tell.

The DVD is horrible. Quite seriously, if one is prone to seizures, you'll have one watching this performance. The editing never allows the viewer a chance to focus on the performance or the performers. I had to turn away numerous times just to prevent my brain from exploding.

This DVD is more of a MTV video than a live concert. If the DVD was only the length of one song, I would have said, " It was neat. Overdone, but fun." But for all their songs, it just hurt.

There are times the sound track is completely out of sync with the video.

I own many live performances and this one is one of the worst.

Summary: Not A+ but definitely a great buy
Review: Now don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Evanescence fan and I LOVED the DVD. It's great that they made the videos available on the DVD, Amy Lee's voice is amazing and the concert is great to watch, and the Behind-The-Scenes parts really show you how normal Amy Lee really is. It's great to see her goof around.
The only problem I had with the DVD is that the footage and compilation aren't done the best. (I do digital video editing myself...) It's sometimes hard to see and a little too fast-paced to soak in. BUT I did still enjoy it very much, it's not that bad, and most people (especially if you're a true fan) will not care at all.

Summary: I LOVE EVANESCENCE!!!
Review: This band is very talented and it would have been a great DVD if only who ever produced this DVD tried to watch it himself. The cuts are very short and before you can focus on one scene it is gone. If this is your favorite band you don't get to see it! Compare it to falling down from a window trying to make out the people in the windows you are passing by.

Summary: Just Perfect
Review: This DVD was so awesome beyond words. Most people might not like the way the editing was done, but personally, I loved it. All those special lighting effects and other stuff was just phenomonal, and I bet Evanescence themsevles loved it. Well, anyway, they basically perform all there songs off the Fallen album, with the exception of Hello. The only 2 problems I had with this DVD are when they are performing the song Going Under, it seems like to me it sort of loses its rock edge because the orchestral cue is played so loud that you can't even hear the guitars hardly. And the second thing is when Amy is singing My Immortal, that damn audience won't shutup. I didn't pay for this DVD to hear other people sing it. Jeez. Well, anyway, other than that, this DVD was absolutley perfect. All there 4 music videos (going under, everybody's fool, my immortal, bring me to life) are also included, plus about an hr of behind the scenes footage. Defintley recommend to all Evanescence fans and any music fan that loves awesome music. You don't even have to like rock to like this. Buy it!

Summary: Great DVD
Review: Yes, the video editing of the live convert could have been better. There was far too much flicking between camcera angles. However, it is still a great DVD/CD deal. Evanescence is still awesome, the bundled relase videos is a bonus. Finally in one place you can get all 4 of their videos. And if after watching this DVD, you are not a fan of Evanescence.... someone been planting the wrong flowers on your grave.
