Summary: Another Hit For The New Kid On The Block!
Review: Michael Buble seems to be everywhere these days. He is on tour around the world, being interviewed on TV, in the record shops, on the radio, and now he is in my DVD player and on my 65 inch BIG SCREEN TV. This CD/DVD package is really marvelous. The CD has several new cuts that really showcase Michael's unique style and first-rate voice, but the real treat here is the DVD. With all the live performance and interview/backstage footage you really get to know what Michael Buble is all about. With this CD/DVD package Michael's lush voice is on display for all to here and now so is his wonderful stage presence. You are really going to enjoy this package! If you LOVE listening to GREAT CROONERS and are in the mood for some Bigger, Brassier, Swingin' versions of tunes from the Great American Songbook, I would also recommend MONTE PROCOPIO "SWINGIN' WITH STYLE" CD. He is also a Great Crooner that can really SWING and deserves a listen. Buy both these artists, you can't go wrong!

Summary: Satisfying CD, Underwhelming DVD
Review: Purchasing this set for the worthy CD and the DVD bonus material is recommended, however expect to be disappointed by the bulk of the material on the DVD. As has been mentioned, the DVD was edited to a "fare thee well" by a substantial team of editors. Two edits per second are not at all unusual. Michael's vocals on DVD generally have the appearance of out-of-sync post-production dubbing as a result of using the audio track from one live performance and overlaying video from multiple live performances. Michael's outfits also change during performances. During one song, he alternates between a white shirt and a black shirt. The DVD bonus material, consisting of 3 live performances taped in a large recording studio - is much better than the main content of the DVD.

Summary: Nice and simple!
Review: The star rating is for the music. Michael sings many popular songs and must face the possibility of being compared to the people that made tem popular. Many people in that position do funny things with the music, thinking that they have to make it unique; Michael does not have to do this (with little exception). He is just being his self and it is great just the way he is.
On the other hand this package also contains a DVD which can make great jewelry or maybe hung from a tree to scare birds. It is like one big sound bite; there is no constancy or course to his rattling. On the technical side the soundtrack is out of sing with the video. The video itself looks like the Blair Witch Project; it can not hold steady or focus.

Summary: Huge disappointment
Review: This DVD is a joke. I was expecting a concert type DVD a la Diana Krall (live in Paris) and was shocked at the poor production of this mess. The MTV type video shots seemed to change with every note and even juxtaposed shots from differenct concerts in the same song! It doesn't take a genius to realize that with this, you have inherent sync problems and they were everywhere through this album. Also, the picture quality was poor (grainy and dark) and the soundtrack of the DVD is not even in Dolby Digial although so indicated on the box.
Note to Michael - your audio production on your previous CD is tremendous but your video production on this DVD is embarassing. Buy the Diana Krall DVD and learn what a musical DVD is all about.

Summary: Uplifting movie that had me tapping my toes and smiling.
Review: Thoroughly enjoyable movie, and pretty good cd.
The time flew watching Buble' singing and interacting with his fans. To listen to him sing is to watch a great artist at work.
I am buying more of these wonderful packages as gifts for friends and co-workers who need their lives uplifted.
