Summary: BEYONCE IS BETTER LIVE!
Review: Beyonce has skills in the studio, but when it comes to preformance wise, Beyonce has everything: Energy, a voice, dance routines, outfit change, the whole thing.

There are three bonus tracks from the bonus disk:

01. Wishing On A Star (10/10) - A remake of the original. Beyonce did an excellent job with it.

02. What's It Gonna Be? (10/10) - A crazy bass line and Beyonce going in and out of falsetto, there is nothing left from this song. Beyonce killed it. My favorite bonus song.

03. My First Time (10/10) - This song was done by the neptunes. Personally, I think this song should've been on "Dangerously In Love" right before "Speechless". It's that first time song about letting him take the lead. Very nice and up-tempo.

IF YOU LOVE BEYONCE, YOU SHOULD'VE HAD THIS IN YOUR COLLECTION BY NOW!!!

Summary: Good, Beyonce.
Review: Beyonce is very talented and she just had an amazing year with her multi-platinum album that brought her hits such as "Crazy in love" and "Naughty girl". So now you'll have the chance to see that success on stage.
This DVD contains a concert at Wembley stadium, where Beyonce sings almost all her solo songs plus a medley with the best songs of Destiny's Child. The show is very good (not amazing), Beyonce's voice sounds also good, but besides the show I think that the special features are also good with behind the scenes with Beyonce and Beyonce's performance at The Brit Awards 2004.
What I think that what's missing in this production are her videos and the rest of the songs that come on "Dangerously in love". Finally you'll get with this DVD a bonus cd that contains: "Wishing on a star", "What's it gonna be", "My first time", "Krazy in luv" and a remix from "Naughty girl".

Summary: Hmm... another cheap review of mine...
Review: Beyonce's solo album was the biggest thing of 2003. I've purchased it, only to find it to be so-so. But nevertheless, the album still pleased me with its insanely catchy "Crazy in Love" and beautiful ballads like "Speechless" and "Me, Myself, and I." A DVD containing her live performace in Wembley was something I didn't expect myself to view, not to mention purchase. I never purchase a live DVD, but the price on Beyonce's DVD (which was very cheap) was something I couldn't pass up. And a bonus CD included was also applicable. And you still ask? Well... I wanted to see if Beyonce can spark more interest for me, as well as entertain me, and perhaps make me appreciate her solo album a bit more. Alas, she just about succeeded in all areas.

She put on a very good performace. Her dances are unique and sexy. And she certainly got the crowd moving there. Playing songs from her solo album, tunes from movies she starred in, and a thoughtful Destiny's Child medly. At an hour and a half, she put on a good show. At times, it looked like she was lip-syncing ("Yes," anyone?) which kinda ruined it for me since I was always led to believe that she wouldn't stoop down to such a low level. But dancing and singing are hard to do at the same time, so I can't complain much there. She does indeed pull of insane dance moves, some of which would woo the viewer. The ballads she sings slow down the show, which is a minor gripe amongst those who've watched this show. I was pleased because I like those songs. "Speechless" was amazing for me to see. I was a bit disappointed that she didn't sing "Signs," but oh well, there's still plenty songs here to enjoy.

The Destiny's Child medly was very much enjoyable. Certainly a major highlight of the performace and probably the best, in my humble opinion, of course. She talks to the crowd as well, keeping them rivited. She has a little "cheering contest" going on at one point, slowing down her performace, but at least she never forgets the fans. She loves her fans, unlike some one (*cough* Avril *cough*). Great dances, I loved her costumes and dresses, she sang pretty much most of the time (and her voice is still damn amazing), and overall, she gave a very good performace. Not great, just very good.

The extra feautres are just behind the scenes of how the show was put together. From setting up how the show would run and Beyonce herself talks about what went down. It may not be much, but it's an interesting watch.

And lastly, the bonus CD. Contains "Wishing on a Star," "What's It Gonna Be," "My First Time," and remixes of previous hits like "Krazy in Luv," "Baby Boy," and "Naughty Girl." I liked the first three tracks, especially "Wishing on a Star." Just absolutely beautiful. The remixes I'm not too fond of. These kind of dance, techno, or club beats don't appeal to me, and I think the songs were ruined. But that's just me. And I've read reviews here that Beyonce had recorded over 40 songs, just for her solo album alone. Maybe a "boxed set" would be released soon. I'm interesting in hearing them for myself.

Anywho, the "Live at Wembley" DVD is well worth it. But if you've already seen Beyonce perform numerous times, it might be best to skip this. But I liked it. Very entertaining. It gets my thumbs up.

Summary: Beyoncé Does It Again!!!
Review: Beyoncé. A name that almost everyone in the world is familiar with. She had one of the number one album's in 2003 with "Dangerously In Love". This DVD is the MUST HAVE addition to go along with the CD "Dangerously In Love". This DVD brings the CD alive. She puts all of her effort into pleasing her British audience. The show kicks off with the oh-so-sexy "Baby Boy". This DVD also made me come to like the song "Hip Hop Star" than I did at first. She does a DC Medley which includes Bug A Boo; No, No, No Pt. 2; Bootylicious; Jumpin', Jumpin'; Say My Name; Independent Women Pt 1; '03 Bonnie &Clyde; and Survivor. "Dangerously In Love 2" is one of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen. Many people who reviewed this say that Janet's concerts are better. Beyoncé gives the same amount of effort as Janet if not more. This is a MUST HAVE for your collection.

Summary: IT NEEDS MORE SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Beyonce: If you said you recorded over 45 songs, why did you only released 3 songs in this issue? The DVD IS GREAT, but I FELT LIKE I WANTED MORE. And so some fans will be a little left out. WE WANTED AT LEAST 5-10 songs.

Review: BUY IT!

This is one of the best concerts that I have seen in my several decades on this planet. As I watched, all I could think of was how wonderful it would be to be there. Beyonce is just awesome. She is multitalented and this concert showcases all of those talents....her singing, dancing, and creativity (she participated, as she says on the video, in planning and staging the show...and WOW!!....did she ever deliver.

Her choice of costumes were perfect for the various sections of the show. After seeing the concert I have a greater appreciation for a couple of songs (Hip Hop Star, The First Time I Said No etc.) that I was not too fond of when I bought the CD.

Now when I listen to the album I automatically visualize her performing them.

The staging and lighting were fabulous, I really liked the visuals for "a gift from virgo" and "summertime".

There was not one aspect of the show that I did not like....I have watched it at least a half dozen times...and I find something new to appreciate each time I watch it.

The special features sections is off the hook!

I have read some of the other critical commentary criticizing her voice, her routine with the audience, etc. The comments are wack! Beyonce gives a wonderful performance. Someone even had the nerve to say she was no Janet Jackson... Now I very much love Janet Jackson, but if it came to a singing contest....Beyonce would blow her away. If Janet could not entertain and dance, she would have never made it on her voice alone...the same for madonna! (another person someone said was better)...At least Beyonce can act! She can act better than Janet as well.

This DVD is ten times better than the Destiny's Child Concert video....now that was a big disappointment.

I absolutely love this concert DVD..my only regret was that it had to end... It left me wanting more...and that is the hightest compliment you can pay any entertainer.

Summary: Not the Breath Taking Beyonce We Usually See!
Review: Fierce! Intense! Ultra sexy! Dynamic! That is how I would describe Beyonce. But she gave the folks in Wembley more of a rehearsal than an actual concert. For starters, I think she had only four costume changes for the entire concert and none of them were hot! One was basically a decorated long sleeved shirt, another the outfit that she wore on the AMA's, a dress that looked like a backup to the one she wore on the Survivor video, and a white sequin get up that looked like a low budget magician assistant outfit. I was disappointed. I am not sure if B was tired but the same intensity and tear it up attitude that she has when she is with DC wasn't there at all - Maybe she was still getting used to being solo? Then the DC medley segment was ultra low budget - imagine an mc with no hype man rapping over a beat that the dj is spinning. Well, that is basically how B handled the medley. She cued the audience to sing waaaay too much - I don't concert goers pay to hear themselves sing. Hair and make-up...no glam at all. I felt like her hair continuously swelled througout the concert...looked like a fat Chia pet by the end. But I love Beyonce and will continue to support her. I just hope she steps it up a bit for the folks in US because Wembley didn't come close to getting their money's worth.

Summary: For Beyonce fans and non Beyonce fans!
Review: For being one of Beyonce's #1 fans, I have to say this DVD is very good! She sings most of the songs from her solo CD, and a few others that arn't on it. She even has a DC Medley with a mixture of past hit songs from Destiny's Child (DC). I have actually seen Beyonce in concert when she was on the Ladies First Tour earlier this year. If you saw the concert and want to see it again then buy this DVD 'cause it's almost the exact same set-up! There are a few things that are different, but the stage setting and costumes are about the same from the tour. I highly recommend this DVD!
