Summary: KISS ANIMALIZE LIVE UNCENSORED
Review: OK KISS FANS! In my opinion, the best KISS video is the previously out-of-print KISS ANIMALIZE LIVE UNCENSORED! It is a full-length concert featuring Bruce Kulick and the Late Great Eric Carr, as well as great mid to late KISS songs. After 14 years of searching, this licensed Awesome Performance is finally available on dvd through a company called DVD BRAZIL. The picture quality is pretty good, and the sound is great...

Summary: Don't buy it! I would give you mine, but I threw it away.
Review: Really big disappointment even for true fans like me who until recently, used to listen to their music 24-7. Peter Criss looks like he's dead, no heart in the playing. Throughout the whole DVD (40 min. not 110 min. as it says on the back cover)Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley keep saying that it's all for the fans and that without the fans they would not be anything. Well? don't we deserve more for our loyalty?
I am sad to say that I finally recognize that KISS is just a money making empire controlled by Gene and Paul. This DVD is the proof. I would give it a minus 5 rating, but unfortunately, it's not available. I ordered it without reading the reviews, trusting that the "hottest band in the world wanted to give the best" to their fans, but sadly it's not the case. This will hurt for a long, long time.

Summary: Avoid
Review: I am an avid Kiss fan...but this is garbage. The band look completely bored...so do the crowd...ther are only 4 songs, and the extras look like my grandma shot them. A blatant rip off, don't get sucked in.

Summary: like they say 1 born every minute
Review: This is just a waste of time and money, does not say much for a band of this caliber. To repeat 5 songs you just saw in multi angel is rediculous and WEAK. They were not all that well produced anyway. Stay away!!!

Summary: Why can't I ZERO star this thing???
Review: I would have given this ZERO stars if I could. Like some others, I bought this without reading reviews...never again. This is an unimaginable piece of crud, given the resources that a band with Kiss's marketability *should* be able to produce.

I would have gladly taken a full live concert with no touch ups and all the mistakes left in, over this four song embarassment and its worthless filler material...good god, a tribute band?!?!? Come on. Gene probably has 500 hours of private footage of the
band through the years. They should be able to release DVD after DVD from each of the band's lineup's. I will question anything they put their name on now before i buy it.

Summary: Pretty disappointnig
Review: I bought this thinking I was getting a copy of the concert in Las Vegas and what I got was a bunch of extras with 4 songs from the Vegas concert. The extras were cool, but I was thinking I was getting a whole concert and it didn't work out that way. If you're a hugh Kiss fan, you will like this, but be forewarned....

Summary: Terribly Disappointed
Review: I saw this in the store and stupidly purchased before looking up the reviews. I figured, if it's a *Concert* and it's 100 minutes it's going to be worth the money.

Unfortunately, the *concert* was only 4 songs. To me that's a performance but not a concert. After watching 4 songs it changed to the multi-cam view and I thought my DVD was defective. That's when I realized the sickening truth.

Now for the money I paid, I would likely have purchased it even if I knew it was only 4 songs. The difference is then I would have bought it expecting just 4 songs, but I would not have purchased that day. I now feel I was tricked into purchasing that day.

I understand that Kiss was not behind this release and would have complained to pixelon.com if their website still existed.

Kiss needs to put at least one full length concert DVD to stop their fans from buying shoddy material. At least next time I'll know to see if it's an authorized release and to read the reviews first.

Kissed off,

Jer

Summary: Waste of money and time
Review: This DVD is terrible. There is only like four or five songs on the concert part, and Gene doesn't even do the blood vomiting or fire spitting schtick. The only cool part is Ace's guitar sparkler. whoopy. They look they really don't care, just doing it because they have to. The extra footage is an absolute waste: Its almost like a home video because you are placed in the crowd where others are interviewing the guys and you can't hear what they're saying. I can't believe Kiss put this out. If they did, shame on them. Whats the deal with the Kiss tribute band? Give me a break.

Summary: Kiss, the hottest band in the world ???
Review: ...maybe or maybe not. This DVD is not authorized by Kiss. The Sound is not as good as the supplemental stuff on the "Second Comming" DVD but it is in DD 5.1 and it is o.k. If you think there is a full show on the disk, you are on the wrong way. Only four Songs are available. The audience is looking very tired, specially when Gene tries to sing along with them. Anyway the show is o.k. and the DVD is worth to be seen. Not only for fans, for you too !!!

Summary: BUYER BEWARE
Review: BUYER BEWARE!!! I'm a HUGE KISS fan, but I know a rip off when I've bought it. When I first saw this I thought, "Finally, KISS has released a concert video." The "show" turns out to be 5 songs played for an online company's premier as an online event in which KISS was just one of the acts.

The band just seems to go through the motions, with the tempo being very slow for a KISS performance. There's none of the fire-breathing, blood-spitting fun that is trademark to a KISS show.

Then there are the "bonus features" of the DVD. This is a real joke, appearing to have been done by someone with a home movie camera and home editing equipment. The 5.1 Dolby Digital sound???..... didn't even work on my copy of the DVD.

Do yourself a favor. Tell the makers of this DVD to KISS OFF, and leave this one on the shelves.
