Summary: A Quick Review from a Humble Alarm Fan
Review: The Alarm has always been a favorite band of mine and this dvd is a good capture of The Alarm 2000, which is Mike Peters sans the other 3 original members, with musicians used extensively on his other work taking their place. The performance is no-nonsense rock n' roll...Mike and the boys just revving through most of the better known classic Alarm songs as well as some fantastic selections from his incredibly underated solo works, albeit few. Overall, not as good as "The Spirit of '86" video, but still solid. Obviously, if your a fan this is a no-brainer. The Alarm's music is just as special today as it was in the 80's, and Mike Peter's solo efforts in some cases rival the Alarm's finest work. The only thing that detracted from this dvd was a somewhat grainy quality to how the concert was shot. Not terrible, but as much of the lighting besides what was directly on the band is quite dark, it is a bit of a nuisance. The presentation is also very basic but the concert itself is what counts and as always, it doesn't dissapoint. The Alarm shows have always been very powerful and energetic performances.
On a last note, the packaging of this dvd is very basic. Nothing within the case besides the dvd with the track listings written on the back. I will say however the photographs on the outer jacket are very cool in their simplicity, portraying a lone Mike Peters engrossed within the passion and spirit the music of The Alarm/Mike Peters has always been.

Summary: A great item for Mike Peters/Alarm Fans
Review: The packaging leaves a little bit to be desired, but if you're a fan, you'll enjoy it. A different line up backing up Mike, but they sound great.
