Rating: Summary: What a wasted opportunity Review: I eagerly looked forward to the release of what I believe is the first DVD featuring a renowned trance dj such as Nick Warren. I had hoped to see an interesting collage of visuals and shots of Warren working the decks. After sitting through about a half hour of it, though, I am thoroughly disappointed. I did not see, in the first half hour at least, a single shot of nick warren in the mix. Instead I saw a monotinous collage of just 3 or 4 cheesy computer animation sequences...over and over and over. Then there were the repeated shots of clubgoers dancing, except none of them could dance so well. For the entire first song, front and center was this lanky doofus looking guy nodding his head up and down and pointing his finger in the air...over and over and over. I expected there to be some computer animation and images of people dancing, but some variety would have been nice.Seems like this DVD was intended solely for, oh, let's say "someone under the influence of certain mind altering substances." For anyone else, this DVD is utterly pointless. On top of that, if I were partaking in such aforementioned substances, I'd still be bored with this. So let's revise that statement and say this DVD is intended for "someone under the influence of certain mind altering substances...AND under 15 AND stupid." And just as some icing on the cake, nick warren's set is a bit dated. I didn't even get to saeed & palash's set, but I imagine its more of the same. In conclusion, the makers of this DVD could have done something really amazing with it, but they failed miserably. Maybe this DVD would be useful to a rave promoter who doesn't want to spend big bucks hiring someone to do visuals. For the rest of the electronica fan population, however, you're better off downloading a free visualization... In the meantime, I hear Sasha and Digweed are working on their own DVD. Let's hope they hire someone better to produce it.

Rating: Summary: They have knowledge Review: I've seen both of these acts live (Connected, Montreal, 2001), and in these sets you truly have a piece of the beings: Warren and Saeed + Palash. Warren's set is more chilled out than anything I've heard from him before, but it takes nothing away from his magic. As always with Nick, you have to trust him but it pays off big when it matters. S+P rock, but *they don't sound commercial*, and that's a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. Unique structures, strange transitions, techy tripped out sounds wearing a house costume -- it's all here, a decent photograph of Saeed and Palash (though their set is disappointingly short on this DVD). As for the visuals, don't look for too much -- it's about the music. I wasn't expecting anything in particular when I bought this DVD (I'm in it for the music, not the looks). The graphics aren't mind-blowing, but none really are to me. Turn off the TV (if you have to) and learn from the sounds.
Rating: Summary: Stupid...Stupid....Just Pure Fresh [baloney] Review: The title reads "Nick Warren In Ibiza". First off, he is not even seen on the dvd. Maybe for a quick 5 sec like someone here said but so far I havent seen him on the dvd itself. Even Saeed and Palash is hardly there. There are interviews included that is not even worth a look. The interviews are boring and with headache inducing visuals. Speaking of visuals, were the guys doing some heroine or smoking a joint when making this dvd? What the hell is up with the 80's style visuals? Stay away from this one because you will not even finish viewing it. Migraines start happening once you pop it in.
Rating: Summary: Not worth it Review: This is a 2 DVD (Nick Warren Mix; Saeed and Palash Mix + interviews) + 1 CD set (same Nick Warren mix than the 1st DVD): by the way, in my DVD the CD side was not detected even though i could hear it on my CD player. Well, the review: I spent like 2 months waiting to find this DVD, and when i finally got it......it was a big dissapointment!. Yes, Nick Warren is one of my favorite DJ's, but this DVD is his worst work. Maybe the mix is "not that bad" (Personally, i think that the one from Saeed and Palash is better). From what i think they had better released it as normal audio CD's as the images have no quality (looks like a home video of a discoteque with some poor computer graphics and some landscapes of Ibiza, with not a good edition, very very poor images), and also the interviews with Sasha and Tenaglia..well, i think that a 2 minutes segment in Entertainment Tonight is better.
