Rating: Summary: Reefer Madness Review: 30 minutes of crap. I've seen better Buffett performances on the Today Show. And the great special features are nothing but the album sleeve. If I wanted to read about Jimmy, I'd have just read old album sleeves. Nothing in it that a Parrothead wouldn't know anyway. I hope that Buffett's next effort will be a whole lot better.P.S. The Coral Reefer girls look great and add ambiance, but they really shouldn't sing. The one girl's screeching scares my dog.
Rating: Summary: Jimmy Buffett Review: Do not purchase this DVD because it is the same as the Jimmy Buffett minimatinee. Amazon messed up this category big time and I ordered it thiking it was a second DVD. Now I am stuck with it because of their error
Rating: Summary: ouch... Review: For the money, it's not a bad DVD. But seeing as I haven't seen Brother Jimmy in over 12 years, well, he just seems...tired. The performances are, for the most part, good, but it appears as though the fun's gone out of it for JB. He moves about the stage and plays with the audience as only he knows how, but it seems forced. And when he breaks into "Tiki Bar" (he sits through all of it), it looks as though he's just trying to catch his breath. The production is too big, too much stuff, the band (especially the drummer) seems to be mailing in their performances, and it just doesn't seem fun. I give it three because it's Jimmy, but for any other artist, one at best for this. Maybe what the critical Parrotheads have said on his website is true, maybe "corporate Jimmy" has said enough. And that's hard enough to say.
Rating: Summary: I gotta agree . . . Review: I agree with Josh. For ten dollars the DVD is worth it. Maybe some people were expecting a full concert and were disappointed with only six songs. I think there is room for improvement and hope that the next MiniMatinee has more special features. But all in all I found it to be entertaining and a good value.

Rating: Summary: 100% parrothead Review: I do not no what everyone is complainig about the dvd is short but it did not cost $20 it cost $5 so quit complaining, you all must not be a true parrothead you guys probabley like kenny chesney to
Rating: Summary: Fun but very short Review: I don't see what the big deal is with the negative reviews. The few songs that are on this are well done with good video and very good audio. Just note that it is very short. If you're a fan of Jimmy, it's worth the $10. If not, then you probably shouldn't be browsing here anyway.
Rating: Summary: Skip This One Review: I guess this goes against the parrothead philosophy that any Jimmy is good Jimmy. And I have to disagree with Alyssa from Key West. BILL LINCOLN is hot!!!!!! Why can't there be more men like him in the world? I'd sure feel safe walking around with him anywhere. I think Alyssa's just jealous that she will never know what it's like to have a real man in her life. You go Bill!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Phinsup to this one! Review: I loved it! It's a great refresher for us who love Jimmy, hate the cold weather that we live in, and can't wait for the next tour to hit our area!! Lots of fun! Just makes me want more...Nothing wrong with that!
Rating: Summary: Why, Jimmy? Why? Review: I'm not expecting to win any popularity contests by writing this, but I simply have to get this off my chest. I have been a diehard Parrothead for many years and have successfully converted more than my share of ordinary folk into fellow Parrotheads. There used to be no greater excitement in my life than waiting for the craziness of the next Buffett show. Sadly, the end of those days for me is approaching rapidly. I just don't feel Jimmy is putting in the effort anymore, and the shows are suffering, and we are left with horrendously bad DVDs like this. What could possibly have possessed Jimmy to release this DVD? There is nothing redeemable about it. And unfortunately, I'm afraid I have to agree with the reviewer that criticized the Reeferettes. I think Nadira sings pleasantly enough, but Tina should not be allowed to do anything but sing back-up. She is not lead singer material. Please, Jimmy, no more lead vocals for Tina!!! It's too bad Jimmy has been lead to believe that his fans are so blindly loyal (not to mention stupid) as to buy anything he puts out, regardless of quality. True Parrotheads expect, and deserve more.
