Rating: Summary: Reggae = yes, Movie = no Review: I enjoyed this film more in the theatre (better sound). As I viewed it again, it's pretty boring. There's no dialog. It's not even a movie really. It's just concert footage. The Mystic Revealers are especially boring. I wish it featured more Luciano, and Garnett Silk...

Rating: Summary: Collector's Item Review: I've been to Jamaica twice and I love the country and its culture. If you are a "serious" (pronounced "seros" in Jamaican Patois), this is a must have Item on your collection. There is nothing more than seeing your faveorite Reggae and Dancehall artists perform live in your own living room!
Rating: Summary: Just buy it! Review: If you like Reggae, you will either wear this movie out before you get tired of it or lend it to a friend and never see it again. It's that good. Really.
Rating: Summary: Great Movie Review: This is a very cool film, great for reggae lovers everywhere. I just sit back every day, crank up the sound, and listen to the music this dvd beholds.
Rating: Summary: You must add this to your archives! Review: This video is one of the better made and edited reggae video I have seen. It features some of the top singers and DJs like Wayne Wonder, Beres Hammond, Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, Buju, Bearning Spear, Maxie Priest, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Garnett Silk. The performances are taken from several concerts held in Jamaica and and overseas. A majority of the video was shot at Sting "94 and JapanSplash 1994. DVD sound quality certainly adds a new dimension to this video. It would be nice to have a similar video made that highlights more of the individual performances of each singer and/or DJ (Dennis Brown, Garnett Silk, Luciano, Buju etc.)
Rating: Summary: Must Have for Reggae Collectors Review: This video may be a little boring by today's standards (it's about 10 + yrs old), but the coverage of DENNIS BROWN, LUCIANO, SHAGGY, MAXI PRIEST, YAMI BOLO, AND GARNETT SILK are crucial 'must have' items for any true reggae music collector! The production & editing are excellent (especially by REGGAE standards....as many reggae videos are poorly produced)
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money on this one Review: This would have to be the worst collection of flat sounding reggae clips i have ever seen. The audio is so flat and compressed that even if there was something interesting on it, it would not be enjoyable. Complete waste of money.
Rating: Summary: They call this reggae? Review: Unfortunately, this is not true roots reggae, nor dub. This DVD contains some of the hollowest sounding pop-reggae performances ever made. A waste of time.
