Summary: We're still waiting for Pink Floyd The Wall Live DVD
Review: Ok Roger, you know how good songwriter you are. But even you sometimes have to admit you have done some really great mistakes, like this 1990 performance with all those horrible guest singers and musicians. Only Sinead O'Connor is great, also Scorpions and Brian Adams are very nice, but the rest...Roger, you really have to admit The Wall without David Gilmour's guitar and vocals is simply NOT THE WALL, that's the truth. Please Roger don't be obstinate anymore and release the most hystorial, wonderful, powerful and hidden performance from all times, and the most awaited DVD as well... Pink Floyd The Wall Live. All fans know there're enough footage from Earls court August 1980, as well Earls Court June 1981.
Thanks

Summary: A great live concert....
Review: Growing up during the cold war and seeing the Berlin Wall being erected,it was a very emotional experience for me to watch this DVD. The symbolism of seeing the wall being demolished near the end of the concert brought tears to my eyes. Roger Waters surounds himself with a group of great performers and added some interesting touches with marching bands, good orchestras and top actors such as Albert Finney.

Summary: bad reviews, high stars?
Review: Ok, as everyone has said this is a waist of money, a horrible attempt to create an incredible experience...but why is everyone saying how bad it is & still giving it 4 & 5 stars?

Review: Rog sells out., August 23, 2004
Reviewer: T. Brown "phoenix11" (Vacaville, CA. United States)

The Wall is an untouchable masterpiece and Roger Waters let hacks do half of it!! I am a floydian but having Cyndi Lauper and Sinead O'Connor makes me sick. Rog was in this debacle for the cash!

You don't know your facts to well do you? Here, let me help you out so maybe you will become less ignorant:

12 months before the concert, Potsdomer Platz was an area of no mans land between Russia controlled, East Berlin and West Berlin. Roger had joked he would only perform 'The Wall concert again if the wall in Germany fell. A video (and Laser disc) was also released of this performance. All profits and future royalties from the sales of the album/video go to 'The Memorial Fund For Disaster Relief' a Leonard Cheshire charity.

Review: I agree with some of the other comments made on here about Cyndi Lauper and Bryan Adams, and others, possibly too fluffy a bunny for this dark album. However, they performed the songs rather well. If you ever enjoyed the old "The Wall" soundtrack, then this album will blow you away. The sound and camera work is not just good, it has a way of sucking you into the performance. You just got to see it. I'll never do it justice describing it to ya on here. Oh yea, if you have surround sound, make sure you pick 5.1 surround from menu. It's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
