Rating: Summary: A concert to see over and over again Review: Although the fact that the video doesn't have all the songs included on the double CD of the same title, this video is the perfect companion to the CD because it lets you understand how the hell these guys can sound so great after almost twenty years on the road. Yes, it's true that this isn't LIVECRIME, but it is also true that it doesn't take 50.000 people to make the band look (or sound) better. As a matter of fact, I think that this realese is better in terms of sound and image quality. If you have the CD and just can't even begin to understand how can Geoff sing like that then you must see the concert on video. This guys just rock! (The first time I watched it I thought it wasn't real). If can you see and hear TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME Live! almost 20 years later you may agree... ;)
Rating: Summary: No Harmonies, Pathetic Crowd.... Review: And these people are from Seattle with their hometown band? The crowd is pathetic, come back to Wisconsin and record a live DVD, we'll give you all we have as an audience at EVERY show.
Geoff Tate hits the notes, he just need Chris DeGarmo back to back him up with his soaring vocals a la LiveCrime, then you have a perfect show!
Rating: Summary: queen of the world Review: great gig for a great band thats all.
Rating: Summary: Queensryche Rules... Review: How many times do I have have ta tell you ?? Buy it .
Rating: Summary: getting a little overweight Review: i agree....Chris DeGarmo was the fuel that set qryche to the mainstage.....and hes (obviously) not on this video. ...and whos the ugly guy that replaced him? (who cares). plus...i may have drinking a little while watching this but.....didnt tate seem a little on the heavy side? he also looks as if he actually misses Chris DeGarmo? (i could be wrong)

Rating: Summary: A great show Review: I had the privledge of actually being at these shows when they were filmed. I even got to be on the Rock Show while they were filming. That was worth the trip alone. The shows were awesome but when I got the DVD I was blown away. The only thing I would have done different was include more material. They did two shows close to two hours each with about only half repeated material.
Rating: Summary: Great Band Bad Replacement Review: I have to say this is a great band but having Kelly, their new guitarist play lead guitar is a mistake. He ruined most of the solo's and does nothing for backup vocals. I have been a Ryche fan for about 15 years, I know a little about this band and this new Guitarist is not doing them any justice. Ryche fan forever....Eddie M.
