Rating: Summary: A Great Collection of Ministry Videos... Review: ...and even some Revolting Cocks videos thrown in for good measure. Ministry was always a powerhouse industrial-metal group, and their music makes a bold statement of how to rock and how to rock loud. TAPES OF WRATH showcases videos from much of their career (discounting the drag of WITH SYMPATHY). The best videos on the disc are the timeless "Just One Fix" with its deep-rooted images, some frightening. Also, the industrial and darkly comedic "N.W.O." is another classic, as well as the early "Stigmata" and "Burning Inside" videos. If you are a true Ministry fan, you'll want to pick this up along with the SPHINCTOUR dvd. Also very worthy for the two Revolting Cocks videos for "Crackin' Up" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy", which are both funny and brilliant.
Rating: Summary: Wow Review: All I cna say is WOW! Being a huge fan I was most impressed by this DVD. We have been waiting for something like this to be released. I don't need to expound any further really. All fans buy this, get your credit card and buy it now.
Rating: Summary: one of the best music DVDs out there! Review: all I have to say is my favourite videos are "stigmata" and "flashback". the funniest video has to be the cover of "do ya think I'm sexy". it's just great. the cheesiest has to be "crackin' up". even "over the shoulder" wasn't that cheesy. but anyways, the audio is in 2channel stereo... and the videos are the video versions of the songs... not exactly the originals--which is what makes it even better. unfortunately the video for "jesus built my hotrod" is edited... they reversed the "let's hit the f**kin' road" sample from the redline/whiteline version. but all in all... if you want to see your favourite ministry music videos, pick this one up! I like 8 of 14 of the videos. but I think they should have included the entire "in case you didn't feel like showing up" live concert just to get a better rating. or... if there are any LARD videos out there... they could also include the video for there new song from the "A.I." soundtrack. =) since my Ramms+ein Live Aus Berlin DVD doesn't work, I'd have to say this is my favourite music DVD. track listing: (1)over the shoulder (2)stigmata (3)flashback (4)burning inside (5)the land of rape and honey (live from in case you didn't feel like showing up) (6)jesus built my hotrod (7)n.w.o. (8)just one fix (9)lay lady lay (10)reload (11)bad blood (12)crackin' up (13)do ya think i'm sexy (14)credits

Rating: Summary: Great music, disappointing videos Review: I am a huge fan of Ministry. I think Al Jourgenson has made some of the most original music ever made. (This is hidden from view by the hardcore image the group has.) But the videos are... well, basically I think that if you hired a random film school student and turned him loose with some concert footage and a random video clip archive, you'd probably get some better videos. I honestly don't understand what they are doing. All of it is violent, underexposed, handheld footage from documentary TV, cut together seemingly with little system or idea. It is not *all* bad. "Just One Fix" for instance is genuinely frightening. But what is a closeup of writhing maggots doing in "Lay Lady Lay"?
Rating: Summary: The best! Review: I own over 100 DVDs and I watch this one the most. It has all the music videos ever put out by Ministry so far. As an added bonus, it also includes two music videos by the Revolting Cocks. Revolting Cocks is a side band started by Ministry. Unfortunately, this DVD has no features other than the music videos. Many people complain that this DVD is NOT recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1. Those people are stupid! Only movies sound good in 5.1. Music is only Mono when we hear it live and it is quite okay to hear it in Stereo instead of 5.1. This DVD is a must own for any Ministy fan.
Rating: Summary: Ministry FANS will love this DVD Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. I've been a Ministry fan from first listen and this brings back memories of Al with his not-so-tough persona and lots of guts in music. Of course its not a complete story because it does exclude the earliest and the latest stuff, but Al and Paul are the first to admit their embarrasment with their first album and Dark Side of the Spoon wasn't out yet. Any real Ministry fan won't gripe about the production value of the DVD or lack of extras because most of this music isn't about being perfectly clear, its about being out there. This is straight forward Ministry. Enjoy Fans.

Rating: Summary: All the classic Ministry Videos dating WAY back Review: If you have been following industrial music for a long time or you are a Ministry fan you will love this DVD! This has most all the Mnistry videos dating way back to the days of Twitch (My personal favorite Ministry release) with "Over the Shoulder". Other great videos include "Stigmata", "Flashback", "Burning Inside", "The Land of Rape and Honey", "Jesus Built My Hotrod" and one of my personal favorite videos was for the side project Revolting Cocks cover of "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy". As a Ministry fan, a Industrial music fan and a Industrial DJ I highly recommend you own this DVD! If you also happen to spin videos at your club this DVD is worth owning as all the videos are good enough quality for play.
Rating: Summary: The definitive video collection! Review: Like I said, this is the definitive video collection. All the cool ones I've seen on MTV late night, and even a few I never knew existed (probably cuz they could never be aired). Contains everything up to Bad Blood, and even includes two revolting cocks videos; seeing Cracking Up in its entirety was a real treat. The video quality is at least as good as I remember seeing them on tv, and the sound is killer. The only bad things about this video are the fact that it has NO extras at all, just "play videos" and "video select", and the fact that it comes in a stupid snap case. Overall, definitely worth every penny for real Ministry fans...now, if only Skinny Puppy would release something like this, I could die happy :)
