Review: of this selection. The VHS version contains complete songs and the performance is inspired--a snapshot of this version of the band at its greatest.

Summary: Horrible
Review: So, would you like to see and hear the Allman Brothers Band play Blue Sky, Elizabeth Reed, Revival and Whipping Post live? Guess what? Not gonna happen here. Whoever produced this video felt that it would be a fantastic idea to insert band interviews into the middle of songs. You hear about two minutes of Blue Sky IN THE BACKGROUND while Greg and Dickey are interviewed. Elizabeth Reed is interrupted three separate times by interviews, and the stuff that you do see is pretty obviously edited down. Who wants to see Dickey Betts play a solo to this great song anyway? Whipping Post is also drastically edited down as the credits role through the majority of it. On the bright side, Dickey and Warren play great solos in Get on With Your life, and Statesboro Blues was pretty good. But, otherwise, this was disappointing to say the least. A very misleading DVD. Don't buy it. Hopefully they'll fix this, but I doubt it. I wonderdered why it was so cheap, now I know. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying it.

Summary: INTERVIEW TALK RIGHT OVER THE MUSIC
Review: Some of the guitar solo's have the band members answering a interviewer's question's right over them. What were they thinking when they made this video? It is not worth the money. Just more poor quality by the Music Industry Weasel's Whitch proves once again anything for a buck!

Summary: Great, but also a bit disappointed.
Review: The set list looks great on the box, but some great songs are interrupted by interviews. However, it was also quite informative.

Summary: Do Not Buy This DVD!
Review: The songs are edited and cut short. There is an interview over top of one of the songs. The last song is cut short with scrolling credits. Whoever released this DVD should be ashamed!

Do Not buy this DVD!!!!!!!

Summary: Any true Allman Borthers fan would enjoy this DVD
Review: The sound and picture quality are great and the selection of tunes are great also. The only annoying thing was the cut in interviews in the middle of a few songs. Overall a good DVD

Summary: Great concert from a great band
Review: The two acoustic numbers ("Midnight Rider" and "Going Down the Road") are superb and "Get on with Your Life" is worth the price of the entire DVD. I have seen the Allman Brothers live numerous times and this video is a perfect representation of their explosive live performances. Warren Haynes and Dickey Betts provide incredible guitar and Greg Allman has never sounded better. I am a huge collector of music DVD's and this is one of the best ones out there. It is much better than the other Allman DVD "Brothers of the Road".

Summary: Awful DVD
Review: The VHS version roarted. The DVD version has interviews over songs. Awful, awful, awful. Stick with the VHS version (I purchased another and threw the DVD out).

Summary: Disgraceful
Review: This DVD is a disgrace. Pathetic. It's actually an outstanding film of an Allman Brothers concert, but the producers ruined it by interrupting the songs with interviews. How can they be so stupid? How can the members of The Allman Brothers allow the record company to butcher the songs like that? Don't they have enough interest in their own music to pay attention to what gets released? If you want to see the full length versions of the songs in this concert, buy the VHS version because it's all there. As for the DVD release, it's such a shame that corporations and record labels show such disrespect for music. The Allman Brothers are one of the greatest live bands of all time and there isn't very much concert footage that has been released, so why did they have to ruin this wonderful concert?
