Summary: great dvd
Review: I just purchased this DVD and I was quite impressed with the quality. The only bummer is no snakes and gallows etc. I was expecting to see this as a reviewer said that it was in the DVD. If you haven't seen Alice, buy the DVD. I have been a long time fan of Alice and understand where he is coming from,to shock and entertain of which he does quite well I do also reccomend Brutally live his latest

Summary: The DVD that converted me...
Review: I read the other reviews of this DVD and was shocked that people rated it as mediocre. If you at all consider yourself an Alice Cooper fan, then this is a necessity! It is the only current way for people to see the awesomeness that is a real live alice cooper performance. Given, his voice is weaker than in recordings due to his drunken state, but I think this really adds to the authenticity of his role as the demented character we see him act out. Not to mention, if you've ever done a stage show, its amazing that they could pull all this off with all the costume changes and props...

I wasn't the biggest alice cooper fan before watching this DVD, but I have now seen it three times through and everytime I love it more. Incorporating great music and performance, playing on vaudeville, yet making it completely sick and twisted, its conceptual genius beyond belief. Not to mention the slew of entertainers he inspired. In summary, Alice Cooper is a god, and this is a clear example of why.

Summary: Alice Cooper Good bad or indifferent
Review: I read the reviews on this DVD, pulled up a fence and sat on it for a bit, don't get me wrong I love Alice and have seen him live 5 times but I know Alice from trash onwards and this, well, I don't know! In the end I had a good month (thanks Y2K) so I bought it. Basically if you've got the time, a dark room and a six pack. This CD rocks ! it ain't modern rock and it aint pretty, but it is rock, and it's worth every penny. The commentary track is good and it adds to the repeat value, as if the music wasn't enough.

Party on Dudes cos were not worthy !!!

Summary: Unlistenable
Review: I really like 'Welcome To My Nightmare' so it was a huge disappointment that the sound quality was so poor. The guitars are virtually silent. Rhino should be ashamed to admit to remastering the audio.

Summary: NO VINCENT PRICE
Review: I was very excited about getting this DVD. Had I known it was concert footage I would have passed. I suppose if you are a real AC fan this would be a must have, But I was looking for the produced version of "Welcome to my nightmare" that starred Vicent Price. That is one I would recomend. You have to be a fan to appriciate this disc. I like AC, but this was a disappointment for me.

Summary: Worth every penny for the commentary track
Review: I'm a fan of the original Alice Cooper group (which broke before this album and tour was conceived).Although the album is great the concert itself can seem a bit "cheesy" at times and the band tends to lean towards a (by 70s standards) heavy metal type of sound. What makes the DVD so great is Alice's (and his assistants) comments throughout the entire concert-funny,informative and at times a confession of his past alcohol problems.Concert highlights include the dance routine during "Some Folks" and the live action/film footage combination of "Escape".If you get it,get it on DVD.

Summary: There's no nightmare with this, it's GREAT.
Review: I'VE BEEN A FAN FOR YEARS AND THIS IS A REAL GREAT ITEM TO OWN. THE INTERVEIW IS VERY GOOD, AND ALL OF THE EXTRAS THAT YOU DON'T GET ON VHS REALLY MAKE THIS SOMETHING SPECIAL.PICTURE AND SOUND ARE DONE VERY WELL.
