Summary: Finally, I get to SEE Warlock!
Review: I'd never seen a full non-bootleg Warlock show. So this was a great treat. It's pro-shot in a club-sized venue in Europe. Nice camera work, not too fast so you can actually see what is going on...unlike an MTV video. My only complaint is the packaging is sparse, no insert of any kind! Would have been nice to put a little booklet in with the DVD since there is no other video available for Warlock. Also, not really any extras included on the DVD. They might have thrown in a studio track or something. I think the company that did this release was really just trying to milk it. Anyhoo, a must-have for Warlock or Doro fans.

Summary: All Night, All Right!
Review: Warlock was a hard rock band from Germany. The female vocalist Doro Pesch has a very good hard rock voice. She has done about 20 albums in her courier. This is a live concert filmed at the Camden Palace in London in September 1985. They had done just two albums: "Burning the Witches" and "Hellbound", so there was not so much material to choose. This DVD lasts 63:14 and it has also discography and biography about Doro. The Hellbound tour doesn't leave you cold if you like good hard rock. This is a club concert, so the audience is quite near the band.

1. The beginning/ 2. Out of Control - this is quite a fast track, so it is good track to start. There's good guitar solos during the song. True hard rock stuff! Doro, she's really caught in a mosh! The Real hard rock woman! 4.25/5

3. Earthshaker Rock - more stuff from "Hellbound" album. Very good lyrics, very good drums, very fast song, good vocals. This is defintely a great live track! 4.5/5

4. Metal Racer - a song from their first album "Burning the Witches", quite fast song, there's a real hard rock attitude! 4.5/5

5. Wrathchild - better live than studio, good track from "Hellbound" 4.5/5

6. Hellbound - very fast track, Doro sings very good, there's good guitars and good lyrics. 4.5/5

7. Holding Me - a sad track from "Burning the Witches" album, musically, maybe not so sad lyrically. There's also very good guitar solo. 4.5/5

8. Shout It Out - from "Hellbound", Doro puts her fist in the air and sings very good! This is not my favourite track, but better live than studio 3.5/5

9. Drum Solo/ Evil - quite good solo, "Evil" is a fast track with good lyrics but it's still basic stuff. This hasn't been released in any album. 3.5/5

10. Without You - a peaceful track from "Burning the Witches", very touching lyrics!! 5/5

11. Hateful Guy - from the "Burning the Witches", a great heavy track with good heavy lyrics! There's good camera angels. The band is together and shows its strengeth. 4.5/5

12. All Night - fists in the air again, this is a track from "Hellbound". Good bass guitars. This track isn't so good live as it is in studio album. 4/5

13. Burning the Witches - the title track of their first album, very heavy, my favourite from this live DVD. The audience is with them truly. They sing "Burning...burning...the witches...the witches" 5/5

14. Time to Die - a great track! Very fast one, a good guitar solo. The only bad thing is that there's a break when the picture is still (about 32 seconds). 4/5
