Rating: Summary: Tina's Great, This DVD Isn't Review: This DVD features some kind words about Tina from other celebrities, along with a few good interview clips of Tina herself, but the musical performances are poorly produced and do not adequately showcase Miss Turner's amazing stage presence. While she is perfectly at home in the smaller venue, the audio is spotty at times and her vocals seem overpowered by the band. To really see Tina in action, check out the Wildest Dreams Live in Amsterdam DVD -- much greater bang for the buck.
Rating: Summary: Higher standard than other Tina concert DVD's Review: This is the Tina concert DVD to purchase over her others. While it may not be a true concert in terms of performing in a huge stadium, it should not deter you. It is still a concert despite the smaller venue and crowd. What makes it so special is that her voice is in top condition at this concert - whereas, her voice was disappointing on her other concert DVDs (too much screaming!). CELEBRATE is a concert to 'celebrate' Tina's 60th birthday in Nov 1999. And indeed it is a true celebration. Not only do you find Tina's voice at its best, you also get incredible archival footage from the early days, woven in between the songs. For example, rare footage of her singing "River Deep" in 1966 - a treat for a fan like me! Also included are 'birthday wishes' from stars such as Cher, Sting, Keith Richards, Bono, Paul McCartney and Bryan Adams. The archival footage is pure gold, and is the main reason I bought the DVD. Just a pity there wasn't more of it! As for the concert, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was pure gold too, after being somewhat disappointed with her other concert DVDs (as mentioned earlier). This DVD is definitely worth purchasing, and one I will watch again and again. All we need now is "The Girl from Nutbush" to be released on DVD (the ultimate documentary on Tina).

Rating: Summary: ANOTHER ONE OF HER BEST FROM SIMPLY THE BEST. Review: This video is viewed in my home time and time again I never get fed up of it.She sings every word with feeling.Every song leaves an everlasting memory or brings you a new meaning. My very favorite has to be All the Woman, but every song is great. This woman is an insparation to everybody, the ups and downs that her life have encountered have not stopped her giving us her fans only the very best of what she has to give, and she gives it to us so well. thankyou Ms Tina Turner.
Rating: Summary: Tina Turner -Simply the Best - Says it All Review: Tina Turner shines in this DVD. The music is great and the art work is mind blowing. The work and thought of this is something to behold. Once started it is almost impossible to stop and the music never seems to leave you. The photography is breath taking and Tina's wardrobes are something else. It is a great nights entertainment. The complaints in the other reviews are questionable. You like Tina Turner and have a good home theater with 5.1 sound, buy this and you will not be disappointed. A fabulous DVD.
