Summary: The Concert for Bangladesh
Review: Ravi, Billy, Leon, Eric, Ringo, Bob, George and many others rock for others. Do you think it would be any good with that line-up?

Summary: A look back in time at these musicians in their prime
Review: The Eastern (India) Music is so quickly and perfectly delivered, it is hard for the eye to follow the hand of these great artists. George Harrison is fantastic, right after release of "All Things Must Pass". Billy Preston and Leon Russell each have a terrific number. Peter Hamm of Badfinger with Harrison in "Here Comes The Sun" and Leon and George singing backup for Bob Dylan in "Just Like A Woman", are a thrill.

Summary: Dylan & Harrison Live, Outstanding
Review: This concert happened ten years before I was born. I think I was something like two years old when I remember hearing the soundtrack for the first time, that long version of "Hard Rain," Mr. D crooning those lyrics, halfway between a soul singer and raging protester. Oh, yeah. When ever I got mad at someone when I was a kid, I'd shout at 'em, "It's a hard rains's a-gonna get ya, oh yeah!"

That said, you shouldn't only consider buying this DVD cuz of my early memories. You shouldn't only consider it if you're a rabid Bob Dylan fan, like me, because Messer's Harrison and Russell turn out outstanding performances as well. The back backup is pretty good too, Eric and Ringo. This is a DVD you absolutely must own. 5 stars.

Summary: Please Re-issue!
Review: This has to be the concert of the century. Until The Band assembled a similar all-star cast for their farewell in 1976, nothing has ever come close. The camerawork is a little fast on the eye but then it was 1970! Bob Dylan in his first US appearance after his motorcycle crash is at his coolest, while Clapton & Harrison make their guitars weep gently in perfect harmony. Please, if anybody out there is listening - Re-Issue!

Summary: IF YOU'RE A GEORGE HARRISON FAN, YOU GOTTA HAVE IT!!!
Review: This is a great memoir about George Harrison. This was the greatest thing he's ever done. I wish it would come out on dvd. I miss George Harrison very much and also John Lennon.

Summary: BANGLADESH
Review: THIS IS ABSOLUTE BRILLIANCE. IT WAS MADE FOR THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF BANGLADESH WHO WERE FIGHTING AGAINST THE PAKISTANI'S FOR THEIR ACTS OF GENOCIDE TOWARDS THE HELPLESS BANGLADESH. THE PAKISTANI SOLDIERS RAPED WOMEN AND KILLED ALL THE HIGH CLASSED PEOPLE(DOCTORS, TEACHERS ETC) WHICH IS WHY BANGLADESH IS IN THIS POVERTY STRICKEN SITUATION NOW. IF YOU TRULY WANT TO SEE THE PASSION THAT THESE ROCK STARS AND MISCELLANEOUS SINGERS SHOWED AND WHY THEY DID THIS WONDERFUL CONCERT THEN DO SOME BACKGROUND RESEARCH ON THE BANGLADESHI'S TRIUMPHANT WIN OVER THE PAKISTANI'S.THEN WATCH THIS DVD. DO IT FOR BANGLADESH'S INDEPENDENCE.
INDEPENDENCE DAY BANGLADESH :16 DECEMBER. THANKYOU.

Summary: All star performances! DVD avail only from Hong Kong
Review: This is the concert that started the whole benefit concert trend and what a line up! Mind boggling. Its too bad it has only been released on DVD in Hong Kong, it would be very popular in a North American release.
