Summary: Amazing DVD
Review: Nightwish is my favorite band and being that Nightwish isn't that popular in Orlando, Florida (as far as I know) I was afraid I was never going to see them live. Therefore, this DVD is a comfort for me. I judge a band by how good they are live and they desreve more prasie then any other band I've seen. Some reveiws said there was bad sound quality, but to me it was hardly noticable. Overall, anyone who is a Nightwish fan (and if your not, you should be) should pick up this DVD. It's amazing and Tarja can sing like no one I've ever herd.

Summary: Nightwish : "From Wishes To Eternity - Live"
Review: ***** - FIVE STARS
--------------------

This DVD smokes. Nightwish is clearly on top of their game when they play live, and this perfromance is one of the best I've ever seen. You can't compare Evanescence's live DVD "Anywhere...." to this. Not even close. Nightwish makes Evenescence look like a garage band when it come to playing live in my opinion. I like Evanescence, but they're just rookies as far as I'm concerned....

This is also much better than Nightwish's othere DVD "End Of Innocence". This is a more mature, a more focused Nightwish. They've made the leap, and I'm very impressed with their product on stage. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Awesome....

I also recently purchaced The Gathering's live DVD "In Motion", and they also are one of the very best live Goth Metal bands around. I was blwon away with how good The Gathering are. I can't decide which DVD I enjoy more. Both are incredible, and a must purchace for anyone who listens to Goth....

Hopefully, Lacuna Coil will follow the live DVD trend, and release a live DVD of their own. I think after they see this performance by Nightwish, which I'm sure they arleady have, they'll be so impressed, they'll want to do one as well. I can't wait, as they are my favorite Goth Metal band. Nightwish and the Gahering are both a close second...

LACUNA LEGIONS!!!!!

Summary: It is A 5.1 Mix
Review: Hello!

Don't complain the sound. It is planned to be 5.1 and sound great if played so. Only complaint goes for the bass which is mixed little too low. Downmixed to two channels it lacks and a separate 2.0 mix would be nice but with decent multichannel equipment it is in balance with the commitment and energy the show delivers.

Summary: sound quality
Review: I am a huge fan of Nightwish, but I agree with the person who said the sound quality was poor. The more recent "End of Innocence" DVD has far superior sound. However this is a superb concert and performance by Tarja, the highlights for me are Swanheart and Beauty & the Beast.

Summary: nightwish...if you don't know 'em, you should!
Review: i have never written a review before, but was compelled to write one about this dvd. i own all the nightwish albums, and play their music in clubs as a dj. this dvd will make you want to travel to europe or scandinavia or timbuktu to see them. the dvd itself captures the power of the band. songs live sound extremely similar to their studio cousins, and i can't say that about most bands. simply watch the track "wishmaster", and then, if you can still breathe afterward, order another copy of this dvd. i didnt experience any sound difficulties on my home theater. i'm sure there's a higher-tech sound somewhere in their future...but this dvd is well well well worth the money!!!

Summary: What a voice!!!
Review: I recently bought this dvd and having just read the comments made by other posters to the quality of the sound, I have to say that I cannot find fault in my copy of the dvd. The dvd is great and the band is vibrant and alive. The opera voice from the singer is just awesome and unique. The band plays with passion and you can feel the atmosphere and excitement of the audience. I also own the Evanescence "Anywhere but home" dvd which although sounds good, I cannot place into the same category as Nightwish. In fact Evanescence sounds like an overdone studio production rather than a live dvd. Spend your money on Nightwish if you have to choose between the two.

Summary: Great! Great! Great! Buy it!
Review: I should say after watching it that I'm completely impressed!
What a great band!
And they're coming to Mexico! I'm definitely watching them.
The DVD has some excellent extras and the concert's quality is excellent as well.

Summary: Reply on sound quality
Review: I wanted to reply to the person who said the sound quality on this disc is not good. I have a decent 5.1 setup and the sound is great on mine. The surround mix is pretty good, you can clearly hear all the instruments, it is one of the better live DVDs I have sound wise.

I have been disappointed in some of the video quality (grainy and black is not very black) on the disc, looks like it was filmed with some cheap cameras or something compared to some of the other videos I have, but it also could be the video conversion from PAL to NTSC. I rate a 4 because of the video quality.
