Summary: That's right- he's the real deal!!
Review: I agree with my man, Evan, above. After seeing Robbie on MTV Europe, I wanted to get more of the SRO performer who seems to be all but known in America. This DVD will give him to you- irreverent, brash, cheeky- but above all entertaining. The Knebworth show is a crazy mix of singer concert, rock spectacle, lounge act, LasVegas and Moulin Rouge review- all rolled into one, but precisely orchestrated and superbly presented. The material, which I thought at first would be forgettable, has me now humming its melodies in my head all day long. Is he a pop star, contrived industry creation, MOR headliner?- who cares? He's the real deal- a first class entertainer who has this audience (all 100,000+ of them) right in the palm of his hand at every moment, thanks to his gifted voice and expert sense of timing, both musically and comically. He is simply riveting. Deserved praise also goes to those who engineered the DVD: sound and camera shots are excellent, providing perhaps a better experience than the live audience enjoyed, certainly the best recording of a mega concert that I've ever witnessed. This is a package well worth viewing and one I guarantee you'll replay again and again. Like the man says, for full effect, do play it loud. As for Robbie Williams- I'll be lining up myself when this guy finally gets to the US!

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST MUSIC DVDs EVER!!!!!
Review: I had this DVD from Amazon Market place... It's named "What We Did Last Summer - Live At Knebworth" It was worth every cent I paid and I would pay double that amount now that I saw it. It's just unbelievable. The first DVD is his concert in Knebworth, England infront of a sea of people. Unlike Slane Castle DVD, this looks like the entire concert because it's almost 2 hours long. The show and the sound are great, and song selection is mostly from Escapology but all the hits are here, i.e. Angel, No Regrets, Let Me Entertain You, Better Man, Kids, Rock DJ, Love Supreme, etc. There is a cover of Queen's We Will Rock You and they do.
The visuals are just magnificent: 100,000+ people having a ball and sing-along some of the songs. The extra DVD is fun too, definitely not boring, so many different things going on (see other reviewers for details). The best part is the chemistry between RW and the audience. The only downer is maybe a bit too many songs from Escapology, which is not my best RW CD.

After watching this incredible show one just wonders how come he is not huge here in the States. If Clay Aiken is selling a million CDs Robbie Williams should sell 10 million.

Summary: "For the next 2 hours your ass is mine!!"
Review: I took a chance and bought the English version on a recent trip to London after hearing how popular he is in the UK - how often are the Brits wrong? All I can say is if you don't buy this DVD you are missing out on one of the best live concerts you will ever see in your life - and I was not familar with any of his songs - the lyrics (remember lyrics?) mostly about love and breakup written in tongue in cheek - everythng was flawless from Robbie's over the top stage presence - his interaction with the crowd - the lighting - the sets - the backup dancers - the band - the visuals - the 100,000 plus crowd was under his spell - he starts off by saying - "I'm Robbie Williams - for the next 2 hours your ass is mine!" If you can not play this DVD loud, then take it to a friend's house where you can crank up the volume - better yet if they have a plasma or HDTV!
I know others have asked - why is he not not big in the states? - maybe some day he might be - but for now, go discover him for yourself and spread the word - I'm lining up for tickets when he performs over here.
p.s. pick up his Live at the Albert - a different take on Robbie singing classic crooner (Sinatra)songs - which shows his versatility (Harry Connick Jr - please step aside) - this guy can do it all.............

Summary: OUTSTANDING
Review: I would recommend this DVD to ANYONE who has even only JUST heard of THE Robster! He is in his own words "a Singer, a song writer and a born entertainer!". Having been one of the lucky few to actually be at his Knebworth (England) gig and be one of the 125 000 there on the night (360 000 people over one weekend), I was dubious about "re-living" it through the telly, but this does NOT disappoint! People all over the world, buy this DVD. Discover the amazing pleasure that is Robbie in Concert! His entrance alone sent shivers down everyones spines... he asked us to let him entertain us and boy did he!

Summary: Unbelievable entertainer!!
Review: I've been a HUGE Robbie fan since 1999. I cannot believe he hasn't made it big in the US yet---we are missing out on so much by him not being bigger here. You MUST purchase this DVD, even if you've never seen or heard of Robbie! He is the greatest entertainer I've ever seen----his energy and his humor are the best. He is so unpredictable---he is very emotional to the point of tears one song to kissing a fan on stage and loving it on another. Definitely the best DVD I have! Do yourself a favor and BUY IT NOW!! An added great---the sound quality is fantastic, if you play it loud, you will no doubt feel you were right there with Robbie!

LOVE LOVE LOVE ROBBIE!!!

Summary: Robbie Rocks!
Review: I've said it before; I'll say it again. Robbie Williams is a genius. America has ignored him far too long. I know, I know, he used to be in a boy band. Forego the preconceptions. Listen to this man's music. The three days in Knebworth documented here are legendary already. Observe one of the world's finest entertainers hold half a million people in the palm of his hand. If this doesn't make you want to hear more, I don't know what will. Knebworth features his big hits, and they are all good, but trust me, some of Williams' finest music is to be found on the b-sides of his singles. He is the whole package: great looking; fabulous entertainer; and extraordinarily talented composer. You will not be disappointed. He's going to be around for decades. Get in on the ground floor America!
