Summary: A good time, a great tape
Review: The name says it all, "Woodstock 99"!! We all heard about it, it was on every news channel, newspaper, MTV, etc. But most of us could not go, and many of us did not want to pay $29.95 per day for Pay-Per-View. See it now for an affordable price. The fact that you are reading this means you want it, so buy it. The tape is very professionally done (SONY MUSIC), most of the footage seems to be from Pay-Per-View (camera shots could not be any better, and the sound was flawless), and it was a very good editing job to put the highlights of three days in a 2-1/2 hour tape. It is non-stop action. Great fun. Never boring. Invite your friends for a Woodstock party, order pizza & beer, and turn up the volume. PARTY! PARTY! I liked Sheryl Crow, KORN, Kid Rock, Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morissette, Metallica, Megadeath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and all of the topless girls. There were thousands of topless girls at the concert, and the tape captured quite a few (...too many to count). The tape has a NR rating, but deserves either a PG-14 or R rating. While there is lots of nudity, it would not be offensive to most women (I think?), it is just good fun; most of the nudity goes by quickly (guys be ready with your remote control). The ladies might like the guitarist for Red Hot Chili Peppers who performed in the nude. Something for everybody. Good music, good fun, and lots of topless girls! Everything that you expected and wanted from Woodstock for a cheap price, and in a tape that you will watch or listen to again and again. A multi-volume set of tapes of Woodstock would have been nice, but this tape does a good job of capturing the highlights and gives a good taste and feel for the event. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: You should of Been there!
Review: The video captures the music part of it. Unfortunatly all people are talking about is the late sunday afternoon. I was there and never in my life could i imagine a quarter million people getting along so well. I respected and got respected as if i was a brother to everybody. I met some the most coolest people in the world from canada, england, to alaska. It was all about having fun and I'll never forget it. It has changed my life forever. When I asked a woodstock clean up crew how much they were making they had told me it was 7.00. Seven dollars , give me a break . Charge us 5 for a water but pay a clean up crew 7. What do you expect the grounds to look like when you are not paying to keep it clean. You get what you pay for. Words can't express how much fun i had. Where else can you walk around naked in front of a quarter million people and not even bat and eye. Not to mention it was the hottest weekend of the year. HMMM....Lets see , pay 5 dollars for a beer or 5 dollars for a water? tough choice! All and all i think woodstock 99 was a remarkable experience. Don't let some yay hole reporter who's idea of having fun is waching the bubles disolve out of diswater tell you what went wrong. I was there and can't wait till the next one. email me your thoughts woodsy054@aol.com

Summary: DVD coming soon
Review: The video stinks! The DVD of Woodstock 99 is coming out February 15.

Summary: the video didn't do justice.
Review: This concert was the most amazing experience i have ever had. I loved every minute of it. The music, the excitement, the nudity, everything was wonderful, especially the raves. The movie didn't do the concert justice, all you see is the music...the woodstock experience wasn't the music alone. It was the people and the love that people had...it wasn't this horrible world of fire and rape. It was beauty, love, music and serentity all rapped in one package-woodstock. And the movie captured none of the drama.

Review: This video is great! If you didn't make it to Woodstock 99 than you have to check this out, and if you did (I know I did), than you REALLY have to get it. It contains the same songs as the CD, but it's the actual performances. Kid Rock, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and the Woodstock life are on this video, check it out!!

Summary: Where's the DVD???
Review: This would be the perfect event to put on DVD. I do not want the tape, because after owning DVD, tape is so "has been." I do not want the CD because the visuals are more engaging. Whoever out there who has say so on this, listen up. Give me DVD now.
