Summary: Must have for MAX fans!
Review: First off, this is REAL Sepultura w/ MAX! No Derrick material on here at all!

Its a combination of the 3 sep home videos(Under Siege, 3rd World Chaos, We are What we are) none of which did I previously own. So getting all 3 of these (over 3 hrs) on 1 DVD was a great deal (Just like the Pantera DVD!)

I had never seen the videos for Roots, Attitude, and Ratamahatta before, all being 3 of my favorite sep songs. The video for Roots is amazing IMO. Its got the band jamming in this underground catacomb of sorts and the imagery fits the song perfectly. The second vid, for Ratamahatta, is done by the same guy who did the early TOOL (claymation) videos and it is quite out there. Its got a jungle theme going with these voodoo gods running through town messing stuff up, quite cool! The last video was Attitude, which included the GRACIE family fighting in a ring, with the band playing behind them. How cool is that for UFC and Sep fans!

The other sections of the DVD include Under Siege, which is a (great) concert from Barcelona from the Arise tour, with a great setlist, including one of my favs "Desperate Cry".

3rd world chaos has some cool footage from Donnington, including a cover of "Orgasmatron" and a slight homage BIOHAZARD in the middle of "Policia". It also has the videos for "Slave New World", "Dead Embryonic Cells", "Refuse Resist", "Territory" along w/ interviews and behind the scenes footage.

This DVD is a must have for fans of the MAX days.

Summary: Sepultura - Chaos
Review: Its so awesome that Sepultura released this. This is my alltime favorite music DVD. (Expected from my favorite band) Trust me Sepultura does not dissapoint on this one. All three videos, Under Siege, Third World Chaos, and We Are What We Are, on one DVD with a big live show, music videos, and loads of extra band footage and live clips.

Under Siege-
I've always been a fan of live performances. Either live shows bring out the live raw energy from the band and crowd, or the sound quality is crap and it sucks. The live show on the Under Seige video, the first and best video, is absolutly awesome and its so good to watch a live show like this from Sepultura whenever I want to. Kicks things off nice with Arise and doesnt slow down till the very end with the Motorhead cover Orgasmatron. And luckily my favorite song Desperate Cry fits in here too. This also has lots of interviews with guys in the band talkin about production and there home towns in Brazil.

Third World Chaos-
The second video on the dvd has 6 music videos for Slave New World, Refuse/Resist, Territory, Arise, Dead Embryotic Cells, and Innerself. The Refuse/Resist video and Innerself video which I had never seen are really cool. Also on here is a bunch of small chunks of live footage but most of the sound quality on these parts is like really bad. But the rest of the DVD quality is excellent though. Also after overlooking it several times theres some cool live scenes of PANTERA with Sepultura doing the Kaiowas jam, and how cool is that.

We Are What We Are-
Even though I'm not a big fan of the Roots albumn these is pretty neat to have. It has the 3 Roots videos, Roots Bloody Roots, Rahatamahata, and Attitude.

Every Sepul-Fan needs this. So pick it up.

Summary: AMAZING AND EXCELLENT!
Review: Ok, first things first, this is Sepultura as Sepultura should be...WITH MAX! What you get is incredible concert footage, mixed with interviews with the band (kind of a behind-the-music type style with commentary about what they wanted in a certain video, song, etc.) and amazing music videos. It is SO extremely worth having that I assure you you need not thinking about getting this for another second...just do it! It is so good to finally have all this material in one collection.

This brings to mind another point...quality of the footage and sound. They are for the most part outstanding. To be fair, there are some spots where it sounds like the recording was done by a guy standing outside of the club with a microphone shoved in his pant pockets. Those who have seen the DVD, I am primarly speaking of that footage with Jello Biafra of the once-genius Dead Kennedys. Beyond that, you will not be disappointed at all.

I also totally agree with the viewer below me...the footage with the GRACIE family...my God it doesn't get any better. So incredible. Get this, get this, get this. You will not be disappointed in the least.

Summary: Apocalyptic Chaos
Review: This DVD is amazing simply put, it's awesome. Roadrunner released all three Sepultura videos on DVD (originally only on VHS) to be released with Under a Pale Grey Sky, which came out within a month apart from each other I believe. This thing is loaded to the brim of footage of concerts, music videos and interviews and the band sitting back and chilling. It has everything you could possibly want from a band. Lets go through a little breakdown now shall we.

Under Siege- By far My personal favorite of the band. Released around the Arise album it contains the band playing Desperate Cry, Mass Hypnosis, and Escape to the void and more! The sound quality and angles are absolutely stunning.

Third World Chaos- This is also VERY cool; it has all their music videos up until Chaos A.D. and has lots of great footage. Even though the sound is crap when we see Andreas and Igor Playing with Jello Biafra, it's still a pretty cool thing to see.

We Are What We are- Even though I love the Roots album, this is still pretty lacking. All it has is the three Roots videos and the band introducing them. That's it, no concert footage or anything, its way too short. But what is on here is still really cool; my personal favorite is the Rahatamahata video with the crazy claymation from Tool.

The "Bonus Features"- There is a sticker on the DVD case that says All three video releases available on DVD! Plus Bonus features". Now the bonus features are extremely lacking. All it is, is that they created a discography section containing all their albums on Roadrunner I.E. Morbid visions/Bestial Devastation up to Nation. And that's it. There is no "bonus" concert material no Easter eggs or anything. I was a bit disappointed by that.

This thing is great to finally have on DVD, its quality and clarity are excellent. Max is about to put out a Soulfly DVD, but I doubt it will be nearly as good as this. If you are a Sep fan of the max years, then you'll be drooling from the mouth watching this. If you're a Derrick fan (how many of those exist? I've never met one), this will convince you that Max was and is still better. Buy this DVD and I hoped this helped.
