Summary: A great DVD for music video lovers
Review: D.A.F.T. is a very well compiled DVD featuring five of the best music videos in the industry, including Spike Jones (of beastie boy fame) and even the self directed fresh. The music is great, the quality is great, the commentary is excellent, a decent interface, and the plethora of information provided with it is incredible. So why four stars instead of five? I felt that some of the included material was unneccesary such as all of the documentaries with on set sound, and I felt that the "direct your own video" on rollin and scratching was a bit corny and awkward in its interface.

Review: from the Daft House to the Daft tracks this DVD is Great !

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well done
Review: I liked this DVD because I had not yet seen any of Daft Punk's music videos. Basically, this DVD is composed of 5 music videos: Da Funk, Around the World, Burnin, Revolution 909, and Fresh. It contains at least 2 commentaries on each video and even remixes. On the B Side, it includes "Rollin & Scratchin" Live in LA and you can choose between 9 different camera angles to view it!

Summary: Around the World
Review: I've given this DVD a five rating purely becuase it has the Around the World video on it. Surely one of the most techically accomplished and visually stunning videos ever made. Michel Gondry is a genius in music video making. I expect in years to come people will look back at this video and still wonder about how exactly it was made. With only Radiohead's 'Street Spirit' and Chris Cunningham's robotic masterpiece of Bjiork's 'All is full of Love' come close to providing such a perfect visual interpretation of the music surrounding it. Enjoy!

Summary: MORE LIVE STUFF!
Review: Obviously the videos are great. But all the extras are okay, but there needs to be 300 hours of live footage to make me happy.

Summary: good movie
Review: this dvd/vhs comes with 5 daft punk music videos off homework. da funk, around the world, burnin', revelution 909, and fresh. some of these music videos aint worth a flip! you would think after seeing one more time that these would be pretty good to, and after hearon thier homework cd. but the only good videos are burnin' and around the world. also, you get a view of thier concert when they were in lA in 1997, ans if you have dvd you can see it in diffrent angles, but you only see it in one angle on vhs. but all in all, it aint a waste of your money or anything, but really, this is for the fans :-)

Summary: Daft DVD
Review: This is a great DVD that utilizes almost every special feature that DVDs have over all other media formats. You get the videos for "Da Funk," "Around the World," "Burnin'," "Revolution 909" and "Fresh" including audio commentary, storyboards, and making-of segments. Here's what i thought was the best part of the package - "Rollin' & Scratchin'" Live in LA (Dec '97) where you can use the angle function to choose between 8 different camera positions! All in all, a great package at a fantastic price. Hopefully other electronic artists - Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Chemical Brothers - will see the path that this compilation has laid down, hurry up, and put out their own disc. Why only 4 stars? 5.1 sound would have been nice, and c'mon - let's be objective, they're music videos, it's not _Citizen Kane_ or _2001_... One more good note - unlike the other French-duo with a DVD, there's no pretentious and boring 40-minute documentary!

Summary: Dogs Androids Firemen Tomatos
Review: This is a great music video DVD. It has remixes of the songs, behind the scenes, commentary, Spike Jones, and great videos!... You also get a 9-angle concert piece on the other side. I wish all music DVDs had this much content (for the price they charge, they should).
