Summary: KELLY CLARKSON IS HERE TO STAY
Review: I hunted high and low for this DVD and I was SO happy to finally get it - Kelly Clarkson is a talent that surpasses generations. She has something for everyone and not only is she downright BEAUTIFUL, she can sing her heart out.

I am so glad that Kelly has gotten away from the American Idol noise and has made a name for herself as an artist. Her fanbase is world-wide and her music is inspiring. Unfortunately, this is something that Ruben and Clay (the second place contender) will never be able to do and will eventually lead to their demise in the industry. Kelly Clarkson will forever be the most important thing to come out of the AI world and her music, personality, and talent prove it.

This DVD was sold out nearly everywhere I went. It's a great buy and a good price and anyone who knows anything about music should definitely own it. The videos are great and the live performances are breathtaking.

OWN IT - get one for a friend. This girl is here to stay.

Summary: I wish this DVD had more
Review: I liked this dvd. My only conplaint is that I wish I could have gotten more for my money. I am a Kelly Clarkson fan and seeing her in the music videos and some background footage was okay . Knowing what I know now about this dvd though, I don't think I would buy it again.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

Summary: Awesome dvd...great buy!
Review: I love it. All of the performances on the dvd were amazing. Each one of 'em showed a different side of Kelly and the girl definitely has talent. The behind the scenes footage of her video shoot and her photo shoot is great. I cannot stop watching the photo shoot because her face is just so pleasant to look at. She's definitely sexy and classy at the same time...she doesn't need to wear skimpy clothes in order to get attention. Her grace, her beauty, her class, and her confidence is what the music industry needs.

Summary: Run of the mill
Review: I was very interested in getting this DVD to see more of what Kelly was all about but was disappointed. I found her charisma lacking. She isn't that pretty to look at -- I'd rather watch Christina or Britney for the look and the moves. Though a good singer, Kelly's style is nothing new, and in fact, falls flat. That is, she is not a standout in today's crowded music scene. Sadly, I found her boring. I thought she may have something more to offer, but I guess from now on, I'll be sticking to Pink, who has an awesome voice, who has an interesting persona and has that something extra.

Summary: Can't hold her down
Review: Kelly Clarkson first came into our hearts when she won American Idol(season 1). Getting through Simon Cowell's tough comments, she proved to us that she really was "miss independent". Today Kelly Clarkson is one of the most well known recording artists and nothing can hold her down. Working as a "Red Bull" promoter just 3 years ago, she was making $12.50 an hour, now she has a 1 million dollar empire. If the phrase Livin' it up were to be put into the dictionary, you would see a picture of Miss Independent right next to it. WE LOVE YOU KELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Kelly Clarkson's "Miss Independent" DVD runs just under an hour. The good news is that it starts with the emotionally finale of the first season of "American Idol," where Kelly keeps breaking down while the moment overwhelms her while singing "A Moment Like This." The bad news is that is far and away the best part of the video. The live performances are decent enough, although uniformly uninspired, but the clips from the summer 2002 tour at least give her something to do while she sings. The first two music videos are from the finale of "American Idol," with "A Moment Like This" working in shots from Kelly's rise to stardom and "Before You Love" continuing the attempt to make her look like Catherine Zeta-Jones's kid sister. However, whoever was in charge of deciding what to do about the music videos for the first two singles off of Kelly's "Thankful" album needs to be replaced before she goes in front of the camera again. "Miss Independent" is set at some all-night party with wearing some thrown together outfit and the net result offers no insights into even some shallow meanings to the song. "Low" decides to do a glaring juxtaposition of Kelly in harsh sunlight driving across the desert with Kelly singing with a band at night in a drive in dressed up like some sort of biker chick. If I had to watch the videos instead of listening to the songs, then I would probably give up on these songs. However, for most people the fact this is a collection of Kelly Clarkson performances and videos is going to be enough to make them decide to pick this up. I wish there was something with Kelly and Tamyra Grey doing "You Thought Wrong," because we would dearly love to see that (and if we have missed that somewhere on cable, please, do not tell us because we will be depressed).
