Rating: Summary: LD50-LIVE IN PEORIA Review: This DVD is amazing. It was interesting to see a live concert w/o all the gloss-over. Instead of covering up the live sound w/ Pro Tools, Mudvayne opted to keep the raw sound of a live show. Of course it doesn't sound as good as a carefully produced studio CD so if that bothers you don't buy this DVD. But if you have an appreciation for live music and how incredibly talented this band is, then this DVD is a great addition to your collection. I was fortunate enough to see this band last year. I really hadn't listened to them before the show but I have been a diehard fan since. The drums are flawless, the bass is stomach-wrenching, and the vocals unbelieveably powerful. The guitar work is pretty basic but it holds onto the "nu metal" sound. I highly recomend this DVD or anything else Mudvayne to current fans as well as anyone who has an appreciation for intricate and innovative music.
Rating: Summary: sweet Review: This DVD is awesome, the poor picture quality gives it a sort of anti-corporate air, at least that's my opinion. Their bassist, Ryknow, is the sweetest part of the band. This DVD is super spiffy, buy it now.
Rating: Summary: I wish I were at this concert Review: This DVD is awesome. If you are a Mudvayne fan, then it is a must own DVD. The video quality is, however, not on par with normal DVD's to say the least. But you only notice this when the camera zooms out during the concert scenes. In every other scene of the DVD, there are a lot of lights and stuff that are flashing and you don't notice the poor quality of the video. The concert is absolutley awesome. My only gripe, which doesn't really count as a gripe, is that they did not play any songs from "Kill, I Oughta" (re-released as The Beginning of All Things To End). But the songs on that album aren't as good as LD50 so it really doesn't matter. If you love Mudvayne, then FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST BUY THIS DVD!!! If you only like Mudvayne, then buy the DVD and it will make you love Mudvayne. Worth every penny.
Rating: Summary: It's a good effort Review: This DVD is okay, but I must stress: vocal mic bleed! Chad's microphone picks up drums and all the stage sound causing some phase problems, the best sounding song on this dvd is -1 because Chad is on a truss above the stage. As a response to video quality, it is not the dvd, it is an effect the band put on video to make it grainy. If you look at the main menu, you'll notice the video is clean and clear. I honestly wish they would re-release this video without of the video effect because honestly it makes the band hard to see at some points. But all in all I like this dvd, it shows that the band is human, they do mess up(chad's voice breaking, or certain members running into eachother) but its a good show, and worth checking out:)

Rating: Summary: mudvayne ld50 Review: this is an awesome dvd if you like mudvayne. the best track on here are death blooms, internal primates forever, nothing to gein and cradle. The weak points are the bad video quality.. The guitar is 100%, the drums too and the bass is incredibleee !!! The singer (chud) doesn't have the same voice as on the cd (on the cd instruments are tuned E B F# B and on dvd F C G C), but it's still very good.if you like mudvayne live, they released.. today (october 14th) live bootleg cd from this summer summer sanitarium (august 6-7 and 10) with 'internal primates forever', '-1', 'cradle', 'world so cold', 'silenced' and 'dig'
Rating: Summary: rock on Review: this video is great if you love badass rockin and heavy metal on stage.
Rating: Summary: I have watched this DVD 3 times. Review: When I first played the DVD, I was disappointed with low picture quality. and I thought my item was damaged but it wasn't. In fact, the picture quality was horrible. On the other hand,I think it may be edited like that-like a bootleg. But I had watch the DVD without skipping. When I had wathched it all, I wanted to watch it one more. After all, I now have watched it 3 times. It rocks. Awesome. Yeah. There is a defect in "Under My Skin". But that wouldn't be any problem because when you reach that point, you must be jumping around a living room as you can't discriminate the defect.^^;; If you're living in a country where you can't watch them doing a live until you die like me, Buy this DVD. I like it much more than METALLICA's cunning stunts.
Rating: Summary: BAd sound quality?!?!?! Review: WHen i first watched this dvd i was appalled by the poor sound quality and video quality. it really detracts from the band's performance. the other thing that shocked me was how bad the live vocals are. kud lets the whole thing down when he hits the wrong nots, leaves out words or sings at the wrong time. if you blend that with the flawless drumming, amazing bass and awesome guitar its just like putting ketchup on your sushi, they don't go together. If you are a real big mudvayne fan i would suggest you buy it, otherwise save the cash for thier next studio cd due out in november
