It shows KoRn almost the peak of there career. This documentary is funny also. This documentary also the following videos: Blind Shoots And Ladders Clown Faget Deuce-5/5 This Documentary is excellent. It shows KoRn at the height of there career. This documentary is very intersting. this documentary has the following videos: A.D.I.D.A.S Got The Life Freak On A Leash Falling Away From Me Make Me Bad Somebody Someone These videos are uncut and uncensored. This is the better documentary than Who Then Now. Besides the documentaries there is a ton of footage, the footage is in the menus. This is cool music DVD and a must for any KoRn fan.
Rating: Summary: Totally Rad. But kind of Annoying. Review: Ok... The content on this DVD is overwhelming. There is soooo much footage to watch, and the menus are very (hmmm...) interesting. The whole idea of making the menu an interactive insane asylum could have worked out well, but it didn't. The different items scattered across the various rooms of the asylum can be selected, and each item has different footage. The concept is lots of fun until you realize that NOTHING in the asylum is labeled, and you don't know what you're getting when you select an item. You just have to memorize what is what, or blindly choose items and hope for what you want to see. Well, the menus are the only complaint that i have about "Duece". This DVD is every KoRn fan's dream. There are tons of music videos, short biographies, the entire "Who Than Now" video, random clips of the band, and more. Much Much More. If you love KoRn, you should be able to get over the frustration of the menus and love this DVD.
Rating: Summary: Over and Underdone Review: Let's start off by saying that I am another one that's getting the split screen/green changing to purple bar on the bottom in "Deuce" and "Who Then Now". I returned it for another one and got the same exact problem, which makes those parts unwatchable, unfortunately. My DVD Player is brand new, so unless they shipped it to the wrong region, I don't know why I'd be getting this. Anyway, on to the other content. I found the interface to be entertaining the first viewing, especially if you're under the influence of something, but I can see how it could be irritating if you're trying to show friends something specific or trying to find something yourself. The imagery in the interface is alot more sinister than the band itself is. It would be more appropriate for, say, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse or Six Feet Under (who can't afford a production like this). Another reviewer mentioned this, and it is accurate. We see a dead, eviscerated child lying on a gurney, click on it and get Fieldy drunk, freestyling goofily over an instrumental track. (Okay, I'm not sure what you get when you click on that one, but you get the idea.) It just doesn't fit the band or the clips that are there, although it is cool to look at, and did take some talent to produce. If you're lucky enough to get it to play properly, then this is a must have for Korn fans. I'm still waiting for a copy that works...
Rating: Summary: Not for people who can't keep their shirts on Review: This DVD has several hours of footage both old and new. The two play all buttons for "Who then now" and "Deuce" are found by clicking on the tricycle or the bag on the table. You just use the arrow buttons on your remote to get there. Once you venture into the Asylum YOU ARE ENTERING AT YOU OWN RISK!!! The Asylum is something of a game.. with patience you will be rewarded with extra bits of footage, music and bio info. The added value material is awesome considering that you allready get several hours of documentary footage and music videos that are conviently displayed in chapters or whole playall runs. Truly a disk to own and play with, not for couch potatos or the faint of heart.
Rating: Summary: a tip Review: I think this dvd is geat and I would recomend it to any KoRn fan, but I just wanted to give a tip to everyone on how to play the whole "asylum" portion of the dvd. On the beginning screen select the bloody rag (or whatever it is) on the table, then select "suround sound". This will bring you to a complete chapter list for "asylum" and a "play all" option. I have no idea why it is arranged like this, but there it is. I hope this helps some of you enjoy the DVD more.
Rating: Summary: Odd, but in a good way. Review: Personally, this is one of the best music DVD's I have. The navigation is pretty crazy, but it never gets old. It is one of the only DVD's that I have that I can really EXPLORE. I find something new everytime you go though it. I give this 4 out of 5 stars only because I think there should really be a MAP or TABLE OF CONTENTS if you really want to find something quickly. Yes, you have to surf around to find all of the clips. That is in no way a DOWNSIDE to the DVD. It just shows what is possible with the DVD format. If you are a KoRn fan, or just REALLY want to get to know the band, pick this one up. I definitely got my [money's] worth.
Rating: Summary: I FEEL LIKE BEING COMMITTED TO AN ASYLUM... Review: After just trying to find Korn's videos on this DVD. Great content...if you can find it. They really need to add an option on this DVD for full playback for those who do not have the patience to navigate through the 'asylum'. The "who then now" portion is pretty easy to find. the newer videos it takes upwards of an hour to locate. Reccommended for die hards only.
Rating: Summary: Great documentaries and videos Review: Despite what other reviewers may have said, the format of this DVD is very simple. Sure you have to click around a lot to find everything but the main attractions (2 Documentaries & Music Videos) aren't too hard to find. The first Documentary "Who Then Now" covers the band from when it started through the making of their 2nd album, it runs 40 min. The second Documentary "Deuce" takes care of everything else in Korn's career up until they performed at Woodstock, it runs 75 min. Within the Documentaries all of Korn's Music Videos are shown, but a menu of them can also be found. The videos are for the songs Blind, Shoots & Ladders, Clown, Faget, A.D.I.D.A.S., Got the Life, Freak on a Leash, Falling Away from Me, Make Me Bad, Somebody Someone, and the Make Me Bad Remix.
Rating: Summary: Forget the other reviews...this is a MUST own DVD Review: I agree with the other reviews here, it is annoying to navigate, but once you get the hang of it, it's great and not too difficult. It is filled with great clips, both of the band lounging and behind-the-scenes, as well as every KoRn music video ever made (not including the new Here to Stay video). The DVD is so incredible in format, but since it is a bit annoying, I give it four stars. The other people reviewing here over-exaggerate the difficulty of the navigation. Also, with the entire Who Then Now? video included, every KoRn fan in the world should pick this up. Nathan "Karma" Cox did a great job.
Rating: Summary: pain in the ass to navigate Review: heres an example of too much. very cool effects but a simple navigation menu that you can get to w/o dealing with the asylum would make life easier. also Why didn't they 5.1 the first vid?
